We were introduced to Paul through our General Contractor Shook & Waller. Building a house in Sonoma county while we lived in New York could have been a very stressful project. But it was not! Paul worked closely with us from the very beginning and guided us through all the permits and processes that one must go through to have a home in California. Everything he warned us about, he got us through. Our home is somewhat unique in the fact that it is a brand new barn home that we wanted to look like an old one. Paul and Shook & Waller worked hand in hand on making this dream a reality. Now when people visit us their first reaction is "wow look at the way you have restored this old barn"! Next house(if there is one) our first stop will be Paul! He has become more like family than someone who we met along the way. And did I mention...we had little to no stress? Paul and Shook & Waller have helped us turn moments into memories for our entire family. It has been a privilege to work with them both.

We have used Kadello and Larsen for three major projects. First, a new-build in Dillon Beach, CA. Then for two separate remodeling projects in our 1883 Victorian in San Francisco. Both Rick and Paul are professionals and provide important insights in planning the projects. They also take direction very well, accepting certain points we believe significant. In addition, they are extremely cost-efficient. My wife and I have and will continue to recommend Kadello and Larsen for architectural services.

After 30 years living in Hawaii and before retiring, we bought a triangle-shaped lot in Sonoma County that proved to be a challenge to build our home on because of city ordinances and set-backs.
