About Us

Pete Hewitt Woodwork designs, manufactures and installs bespoke kitchens and furniture out of local hardwoods. Working closely with private clients - as well as architects and builders - he creates unique designs with a high level of precision and functionality. Pete Hewitt studied Product Design at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2005. He then finessed his woodwork abilities at the Chippendale School of Furniture near Haddington, East Lothian. He likes to create clean, robust designs which display the natural beauty of local woods such as elm, oak, ash and sycamore. He has created products for clients all over Scotland but his workshop is situated just beyond Edinburgh in Oxenfoord Estate, Pathhead, Midlothian.
