Pamela is just incredible, there are no words to truly describe how overjoyed we are with the results and the process! We wanted to LOVE our home and decided we were going to invest in making our home a sanctuary. I had seen Pamela's work on Instagram and we had been having a difficult time finding just the right person to execute our vision. Pamela picked up the phone when we first called and walked us through the process, it is so organized and well laid out, it was mind blowing. We had an initial meeting to outline just what we wanted and then a subsequent meeting to go over the room layout and choose from the design options her team put together. They NAILED it on the first go around and we were set! The billing was clear, the process was easy, the team arranged everything, all we had to do was pick stuff out from selections they chose and leave the house on the install date for them to get everything finished. I constantly was worried I wasn't doing enough they had made it THAT easy and the finished result was beyond our wildest dreams. Anyone can pick a couch out or put together a room but PHI put together a SHOW STOPPER for our living room, entryway and master bedroom. It feels like our house just gives us a "hug" every time we walk in. It is inviting, functional, luxurious, practical and stylish. Not a day goes by when someone doesn't ask us about where we got something or how amazing everything looks.

Pam designed our family room, kids bedroom and a bathroom remodel. She was amazing in her ability to communicate with both my husband and me. She understand, almost immediately, what we each wanted from the project and was able to bring it together beautifully. She was able to see our vision and used her knowledge and talent to give us exactly what we wanted. We cannot wait to use her for other projects.

Pam Harvey designed and delivered a renovation of my living room. It is so beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone who comes into the room remarks on how beautiful it is. Pam did a great job helping me select stone to reface our tired red brick fireplace and new paint for the walls. The paint color was the perfect suggestion (I tried numerous colors on test boards on my own with out success). The new fireplace finish was a real game changer in the room, we wish that we had refreshed the look long ago. We LOVE our new rooms. Pam has a great sense of humor she is a good listener. I have used decorators before to help with small projects but Pamela was the first decorator that I hired to decorate an entire room. Her vision and style for the room exceeded my expectations. What I love most about Pamela is her fabulous way of putting the final touches on the room. She pays attention to every detail, making the room look like it was out of a magazine.

We have enjoyed working with Pamela Harvey Interiors for the past eight or nine years on various projects in our home, including an update of our master bedroom, master bath, and dining room. My husband and I have employed Pam Harvey over a period of eight years for four separate projects in our home, and each time we have been extremely pleased with the results. On our largest and most recent project, Pam completely oversaw the design and remodeling of our 20-year old kitchen. Pam negotiated price and delivery terms with contractors, helped to pick out appliances and completed drawings for the new floor plan, which included the removal of a non load bearing wall. Last year, she led the remodeling of our master bath, transforming it from a typical tract-home master bath to a spa-like facility with several modern amenities. Other projects have included the remodeling of our children's bathroom, and the selection of new furniture, window-treatments and rugs when we moved in. Pam has an exceptional ability to select and match colors. On each project, she gave us multiple colors and design plans from which to choose. I hired Pamela to help me with an end-to-end master bedroom and bathroom redesign. The results are stunning. Her collaborative approach to the work was exactly what I was looking for in an interior design project. While at the same time, keeping things moving so that the entire project was done in a span of about 3 months. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Pam. Pamela Harvey created unique, beautiful, organized, yet livable spaces for our family. She was able to work within our budget to achieve results beyond our expectations. We are very pleased with the work that she has done for us. We started working with Pam over a decade ago, initially to pick exterior colors for our home. Pam's experience, interior design expertise, knowledge, and presentation impressed us. Next, she helped us update our living room from top to bottom. The designs that Pamela Harvey Interiors (PHI) provided where creative and innovative. Her use of space and color significantly enhanced our living area while creating a warm and welcoming environment. She is patient and worked within our budget. We’ve done a number of projects with PHI and are currently collaborating on a new project.

We had the pleasure of working with Pam on a first floor remodel of our house and couldn't be happier with the results! Pam transformed our home in ways we could have never dreamed of! The floor plan presented a variety of design challenges which stymied other professionals, but Pam navigated the atypical layout with ease. Her ability to marry the sometimes opposing visions a couple will have, into a harmonious solution cannot be understated! Many times just trusting her was the right thing to do. All the subs she brought in for flooring, electrical, paint, wall covering, etc. were professionals who did excellent work, Pam managed all the details, even having one craftsman return, though the blemish was of small consequence to us. Her standards are high and her personal integrity is equally impressive. She ended up crediting money back to our account on a over payment we would have never caught. I would like to believe any professional would do the same, but I'm not that naive. One particularly memorable moment, when we were exasperated with the wait time for a custom piece (not Pam's fault) she said "Don't worry about the wait. When I'm done, you'll have the best looking house of all your friends". A bold statement, which she TOTALLY backed up!! Everyone who comes by comments on how beautiful and lovely our house is. After interviewing nearly a half dozen designers and ultimately choosing a different one (with DISASTROUS results), we can safely say we have found our "designer for life" in Pamela Harvey. She is professional, easy to work with, and has an impeccable eye for color, design & space. Most important of all, Pam has has given us a warm, inviting space to come home to every day. We couldn't be more enthusiastic in our recommendation!!

We have used Pamela Harvey Interiors extensively over the past 8 or 9 years. We started with a remodeling of our bathroom in the Master bedroom and were delighted with the results. The price was fair, the overall concept was creative and practical and the workmanship was very professional. Based on that favorable experience we used Pamela Harvey Interiors for a remodeling and upgrade of our our kitchen and family room. Same beautiful results. Have received many compliments on the remodeling effort. This past summer we had the unfortunate experience of a rather major flood resulting from a burst pipe under our kitchen sink. Without hesitation, we chose Pamela Harvey Interiors as our general contractor to repair the damage. Ms Harvey reacted quickly and had our house up and running in a short period of time. Again, the results were beautiful. Our last ( for now) was a project to upgrade our dining room and living room. Again, Ms Harvey showed great taste and imagination in meeting our needs.

Pam was recommended to me by my builder, and I hired Pam to help with the design of my home during the construction phrase and continuing with the completion of the interior spaces including paint choices, window treatments, rugs, furniture, and accent items. For two rooms I gave Pam a picture from a magazine and she found fabrics to capture the feel of the room, for other rooms she brought various options and we chose from them, and for a couple of rooms Pam brought fabrics and rugs and I ordered them on the spot, without even looking at any alternatives. The end result has been all that I hoped for. Pam recognizes and respects the importance of using money wisely, and it's a delight to work with her. I recommended that my sister also hire Pam and sister has done extensive work with her. I wouldn't lead my sister astray!

Ms. Harvey provided design services prior to and after our family's move into a new home. She consulted on color schemes, furniture layout and almost every aspect of the project. Several pieces of artwork were purchased and one large mural painted in the living room. I worked with Pam on various projects between early 2005 and late 2008. Pam is very professional and offers very practical advice when there is nothing to purchase. If I were moving back to the Northern Virginia area, she would be the first call I would make, even before the realtor. She is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Pam worked with us to update our furniture, fabrics and style for our home. Working with Pam was fun and enlightening, and I learned that there are far more than 5 primary colors! She was great at helping me expand beyond my old ways and find a fresher look for my home. I loved that I was still able to keep my favorite things, yet she found a new way to enhance them all. We worked to redesign the dining and living rooms....now on to the master bath! The most important attribute for an Interior Designer is the ability to listen to and respect a homeowner's "untrained" opinion and then mold it into a thing of beauty.
