Peter Collins exceeded our expectations in a difficult project, that of designing a renovation with 21st century requirements in a nineteenth century house, yet sensitively acknowledging the spirit of the place. All doors were rehung, stones from the original "foundation" were used in an interior wall, original redwood exterior siding was used to panel the library, and original 6x6 joices reworked as exposed beams in a bedroom. Peter and his group were very approachable and performed in a timely manner.
