Ann Wallace for Prairie Textiles

Just wanted to say - the checkerberry applique curtains arrived today and they are absolutely *beautiful*. Thanks so much for adding a spark to my mother's room. They were really a great purchase, and very much in the spirit of Arts & Crafts.

We bought 5 roller shades from Ann Wallace for the bedroom windows of our 1842 house. Each bedroom has only one window and pretty window trim, so I didn't want to put curtains on the windows, and my daughter and nieces wanted to block out the sun for nap time when they and their young children visit. The shades are beautiful! The selection of fabrics, stencils, and colors was very good. Ann was very helpful in walking through the process and offered very good advice. She kept us informed throughout and delivered when she said she would. We love our new shades.

The roller shades I bought from Ann Wallace are fantastic. The fabric and stencils are beautiful, the hardware works great, and they do a great job of keeping the house cool in the summer. The shades go perfectly in my 1891-built house. Ann was easy to work with, quick to respond to questions, and kept me informed as she built the shades. I would highly recommend her every time.

We just moved into a nicely redone Craftsman home. Ann promptly sent swatches to help us make the right fabric selection. She offered clear, concise instructions on how to measure for the curtains - ensuring that we got it right the first time. The curtains were finished and delivered when promised. Once we installed them, there was no question: Ann Wallace's work is the best. The curtains are glorious. But this was no surprise. We have ordered and installed Ann Wallace's curtains in the last three houses that we've been lucky enough to call home. The curtains that she made for our first home are still being enjoyed by the current owner - that's nearly 20 years later!

We have seen the advertisements for years in Modern Bungalow, and we finally had the opportunity to order curtains for the bedroom of our newly remodeled cabin in Colorado. The thought of measuring ourselves for custom curtains was a little bit intimidating, but we talked with them on the phone and read their instructions, and everything worked out perfectly. We ordered 1 1/2 fullness, top of rod to window sill length, we have the rings on the top and they are very easy to open and close. The curtains are lined and do a good job of blocking the direct morning sun so we can sleep in a little bit longer! We love the applique. The fabric and stitching is impeccable. Thank you!

Was very happy to receive the roller shades yesterday. My husband put them up and we are both delighted to finally have the ability to raise and lower the shades (after living for a few months with paper accordion fold shades). It was so nice to be able to open them and get day light in the bedroom. And then at night time it was wonderful to have it dark in there. No more worries about the tennis court lights! So excited about getting the Roman shade and the curtains for the other two windows. Our house will then feel complete. I appreciate your patience as I figured out what I needed and wanted!
