Rachel Bates is one of the UK’s most well respected interior & product designers. Having founded Rachel Bates Interiors in 2012 she has carved out an exceptional career in four short years, developing an outstanding reputation and spearheading a number of notable design collaborations along the way. Based in Cheshire and with a design studio and showroom in Mottram-St-Andrew, Rachel has become a tastemaker and ambassador for the interior design industry outside of London and her popularity continues to gather momentum nationally and internationally. In addition to her on-going private client interiors projects Rachel launched an online interior design and lifestyle boutique, ‘Rachel Bates Elegantly Curated’ which went live in November 2015. This presents a carefully curated collection of Rachel Bates own-label designs, exclusive collections from leading luxury brands and Rachel’s ‘edits’ from other distinguished designers. Rachel Bates Elegantly Curated also showcases Rachel’s special collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Champagne Laurent Perrier, Clare Coles, And So To Bed and Little Greene, with many more to come. Now an influential and respected leader of the interiors world, Rachel regularly comperes industry events - most recently the Professional Publishers Association panel discussion with House & Garden, House Beautiful and Homes & Antiques magazine and In-conversation with Rachel Bates, Champagne Laurent-Perrier & Marc de Berny at SuperyacthDESIGN week held at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour in June.
