Rare Finds Warehouse

My wife and I came here on a lark looking for something different after hours and days and weeks scouring the west side for some well made furniture with character. When we walked in we were totally gobsmacked. Everywhere you look there is some conversation waiting to happen, some piece of another part of the world waiting to be inspected and discussed. The pieces are all unique, mostly from overseas although some custom made and a lot that have obviously been modified in some cool ways to make totally unique and somewhat funky pieces. Our main objective at that time was to find a dinner table that was sturdy. Not “sturdy” like most in the industry use the term to describe something that came in a flat box but is somehow now cubical due to the crafty use of some specialty hardware. That stuff folds like a cheap suit the minute you put an eccentric force on it. No thank you. We wanted something very sturdy, in the truest sense of the word. Like sit on the edge, dance on the top, kids hanging off the sides, rebuild a v8 on it kind of sturdy table. No mean feat, granted, but still frustratingly elusive here in Denver. Once we finally wandered our way into the tables section/area at rare finds, we knew right then that our search had ended. And end it did. With a 53” custom welded base attached to a repurposed oak top that looks as good as it functions, and a bench to match, only in a different stain color. The custom shop will make you pretty much whatever you need and so we asked for a dining table with diagonal struts along the length of the base to stiffen it up. I was hoping for a table that would remain still while people were eating/getting up-pushing away from the table, etc. Boy did I get it. It wouldn’t matter if someone was sawing their way through a cinder block with a rip saw right next to you, everyone’s wine glasses and their contents would be perfectly undisturbed, the candles blissfully burning away in the absence of any lateral translation. I’m not kidding. If the table moves, the entire table is moving, and it’s heavy so that’s not happening. I wish I had pictures because my description is doing it no justice to be sure. The quality of craftsmanship is apparent. We were happy with the rest of the inventory also as it seems easy to find various sizes and configurations that simply don’t exist in furniture stores. We needed a bathroom cabinet and found one that cleared the space between two pedestal sinks by 1/8”. Perfect. We needed some kind of mobile work surface for the kitchen with storage and found a three level cart in wood with a metal frame on wheels. Perfect again. Now we’re searching for a corner cabinet and some interesting lighting. No extra points for guessing where we’re going first to find them.

We recently purchased a table, two benches and two chairs form Rare Finds. It was our first time here and we were blown away by the gorgeous pieces and unique selection. It was awesome to come into a furniture store that didn't look like all the rest. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and the 24 hour hold policy allowed us to measure the area before actual purchase. In addition, customer service was 5 star. We had a small issue on delivery and Cole, the manager and Brad the owner went to great lengths to solve the problem. We're thrilled with our purchase and we'll be back again!

LOVE Rare Finds! It was recommended to me by a friend and I think the first time I went there I spent about three hours! Rare Finds is a museum of fun, reclaimed, re-purposed, and one-of-a-kind treasures! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. What a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Great prices and unique finds. We have purchased some awesome pieces that clients can't find in other places. There are so many custom pieces and one of a kind gems.

The sales people here are super knowledgeable and easy to work with. They know where everything comes from and have a keen sense of style. They helped me match chairs and a table to meet my style!

Rare Finds is quite a gem! Very unassumingly nuzzled in a strip mall type area under wraps a friend and myself almost did not go in this charming warehouse. Boy are we glad we did! Since then we have not only returned to find eclectic distressed wood tables and artwork, but have also told many about the great and unique items at RFW. Staff, by the way, are knowledgable and very polite and helpful. Thumbs up to Rare Finds!

Lots of old looking stuff with the occasional nugget. Not a lot of quality, but a "look". Seemed a little pricey to me, for the quality. Worth a trip if you haven't been.

Fun place with lots of unique furniture and treasures! Staff was friendly and helpful. We purchased furniture for our kitchen and LOVE it!

I haven't purchased yet but the staff have been helpful with my questions when i ask. They are very busy on the weekend so i would recommend other times of the week if you need a lot of assistance. Great items and ideas.

TERRIFIC FINDS, constantly changing inventory. They have a knack at choosing large and small accessories to compliment any contemporary aesthetic.
