Richard and his team renovated our home and we couldn't be more pleased with his work and professionalism. He was respectful and collaborative in the design process as we were navigating our aesthetic.. he had great and creative ideas yet always tailored the work to best represent our wishes. He is knowledgeable and experienced and didn't miss a beat when it came to orchestrating permits, etc as well as having a good team, both on deck each day for construction and good relationships with contractors. He oversees the contractors and always advocates for the client in terms of cost and product. He stuck to deadlines and even though we are now back in our home over a year, we still stay in touch as his team is always responsive for minor touch ups or questions.. It was a daunting task but his guidance and administration made it relatively painless. Will also add that in the early construction/demolition, he was respectful and responsive to neighbors requests regarding noise and more. Overall, we highly highly recommend.

I was referred to Richard by a close friend of mine who had recently completed an entire brownstone renovation. She spoke very highly of him, and considering we had worked with many other contractors who then disappeared immediately upon completion of work, I was excited to give Richard a shot at a simultaneous 2 bathroom and subsequent stairway renovation. I can say without hesitation that Richard and his team have been incredible partners from the getgo and all the way through. Richard is trust-worthy, transparent, thorough, thoughtful in his ideas/plans, flexible, responsive and patient - qualities I believe critical and often lacking among his peers in the business. He is a creative solutions-provider and has a top-notch team who share the same values. They did absolutely beautiful work and also uncovered/fixed issues left behind from previous renovations, while also helping us with other issues on the fly that were unrelated to the work he was hired for. His team is friendly and respectful, and I can say after having them in my house for an extended period of time, we almost felt like family. Richard is a great partner and immense talent, and I urge anyone seeking a design/build service to get in touch with him!
