We hired Renoviso to replace all of the windows on our historic home. They put on a great presentation and sold us. We've regretted it ever since. After selecting our windows, screens and hardware through a slick-looking website, we were given a competitive rate for installing the windows we were looking for. We should have known it was too good to be true. We have a historic home that hadn't been renovated in years, so we selected a number of upgrades to ensure that we would have long-lasting, maintenance-free windows for years to come. We chose upgraded screens that provided greater transparency, PVC sills to prevent rot (which had become a problem), wrapping of exterior stops in aluminum coil, new interior sills, and replacement of a historic sill in our living room. Renoviso charged for all of these upgrades, replacing rotten wood and for cleaning our home after they were done. They never provided the upgraded screens, used cheap, spray-painted pine instead of PVC for the new exterior sills, did not wrap the exterior stops in aluminum coil, did not install new interior sills, and did not install a new historic sill in our living room. In addition, the entire house was filled with dust, the windows were not cleaned, hundreds of nail holes were left unpatched, and many windows were not caulked. Other windows had caulk smeared on the glass. When we told Renoviso about the issues they first denied that they had deviated from the contract. They insisted that none of the pine had been spray painted until we told them that we have video surveillance on our property and that their contractors were on video spray painting the pine right in front of our cameras. After we sent them pictures they told us that their contracting software automatically enters in work that they don't actually intend on performing, and that they decided to use pine instead of PVC because they thought it was better for a historic house (without asking us, despite us specifically asking for PVC and the contract specifying that we wanted PVC). When we raised these issues it took them weeks to respond, at which point we had already hired people to fix most of the cosmetic work. After countless lies and the repeated, absurd suggestion that a software glitch is responsible for creating a contract they never intended to honor, they offered us a couple hundred dollars off. The money didn't even cover the cost we paid to have cleaners come in and clean the dust and windows (a cost that was already included in the Renoviso contract). Afterwards we found out that they weren't even registered as contractors in Rhode Island when they performed the work. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, and to hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake we did when we hired Renoviso, we're attaching pictures showing the awful job that was done. Don't get sucked in by their slick presentation - avoid Renoviso at all costs. They do not stand behind their contracts.

From the minute I called I knew I would work with this company. They responded to my calls and emails promptly, as well and answering all my questions. From choosing the type of windows through installation everything went smoothly. They were completely flexible with my schedule. After I had my windows done I recommended them to my condo association and they used Renoviso too. I highly recommend Renoviso and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Renoviso was awesome! Windows were installed (in the dead of winter) with minimal disruption. The crew was respectful of my home and very neat. They installed 10 windows in a very short period of time. The difference is amazing!

It went amazingly well. There are not enough good words to describe our experience with Renoviso. Overall we dealt with 5 different vendors this spring for various large home updates, and the only experience that I would repeat is our dealings with Renoviso. From our initial contact with them (Boston home show) to the resolution of one tiny issue, the entire experience was a joy! From day one, Kerry was spot on in her communication, walking us through the whole process of choosing and ordering the product, how to prepare the areas for installation, what to expect on that day etc. Even when we had a tiny lingering issue to resolve, Renoviso dealt with it quickly and with an exemplary level of professionalism. All that, plus what we knew to be a really fair price on the windows and installation. Use this company for your renovations and you will be so glad that you did!

My wife and I replaced 12 wood windows in our house in Winchester last summer. They gave us our price quote online and broke down the price so we could understand the project costs. The installer crew was great and got done on time. We've done a few home renovations since we bought the house and dealing with Renoviso was the best experience we had by far. They weren't pushy and laid out all the options for us. Def recommended...

Renoviso was great to deal with, most professional and competent. All time frames were adhered to and the installation was neat and flawless. We could not be more satisfied.
