Renaissance Windows & Doors

If you want your job done right, go somewhere else. Back in October of 2021, I decided to get the windows in my house redone. Windows were on back order, so installation didn't happen until April of 2022. I understood, at this time the world was on back order and that was fine. Windows were installed, I believed everything was fine, until I tried to renew my home owner's insurance. My agent asked me if I had, had any work done on my house, and I said yes, I had all my window's replaced (Over $17,000). I live in Brazoria County, so everything has to be windstorm approved. As I went to get my insurance renewed, my agent lets me know that the window company hasn't filed the windstorm certificate. I call Renaissance and I was told, (which they now deny) that the inspector didn't file the report. When the inspector came today, he told me that they had come back in April, but the job was already complete (they were suppose to be called before the job started, so they could see all the supplies.) He also told me at that time, that they noticed that the wrong screws had been used. So the inspection failed. When I called Renaissance in January2023, I was never told the inspection failed, just that the inspector hadn't filed the report, which is true, because it DIDN'T PASS!! So jump to today, a man from Renaissance shows up before the inspector and notices that the screws are wrong. He starts fixing them, but the inspector shows up and again, won't pass it, because he has only completed one of the 12 windows. Now, I will have to find another time for the inspector to come back. 1. Renaissance should have known they were using the wrong screws since they are selling windows that have to pass Texas Windstorm Inspection 2. If it is true that they don't receive the report (which I find highly unlikely) they should reach out the engineer and make sure everything has passed. 3. When you pay over $17,000 for something, you should be able to trust that it is done correctly and you as the customer, shouldn't have to do all the running around making sure everything is filed and done correctly. If you chose to use Renaissance, do it at your own risk. They aren't going to tell you when they screw up and they aren't going to fix it, unless you demand. There was just a I'm sorry. Nothing to try to rectify their mess up.

We replaced the majority of our windows using Renaissance Windows and were extremely happy with their service and products. They delivered and installed the windows within the time frame given. The installers were courteous, professional and very meticulous. Without hesitation, we would highly recommend Renaissance Windows and Doors.

Renaissance did a great job with our whole house window replacement, 17 total windows. The factory made a few mistakes but Derrick, Wayne, Phillip and Angel made sure we got the windows we wanted in a timely fashion. If I had any more windows to replace, I would hire them again. They were prompt, courteous and offered a detailed written quote. Their work was top quality even with our 2 very challenging custom windows.

The company was AWESOME. Would use them again without question. The company from sales to installers where very professional and knowledgeable. Good price for Great Product.

We have been thrilled with our Renaissance Windows! They replaced all the windows across the front of the house, and wow, what a difference. Not only were they able to replace our custom windows exactly as they are (approximately 3 feet by 8 feet double hung with 21 divided lights), they did an amazing and professional job installing. We priced out Pella replacement windows for the same job--they were 40 percent more expensive, and they could not replicate the window exactly as the originals. We recommend Renaissance to all our friends.

I have been working with them for over 16 years now- Renaissance Windows and Doors have installed windows, glass blocks, french doors and sky lights (when they used to do them) to my house. Derrick, the sales person that I have worked with for a long time, listens to my needs and decides what is the best for me, and is never out to sell me anything extra. I truly value his expertise. The installers are always courteous, meticulous, and neat with their work. If there are any issues, they always come back in a timely matter. If I had anymore windows or doors left to fix, I would definitely use them again!

The salesmen were very prompt upon arrival. Not only were they very professional, but extremely knowledgeable about their products. My only regret was that I found out too late about them and already had my windows replaced. I did buy two beautiful doors, a fiberglass front door and a slider, from Renaissance. The installers were amazing. They were very polite and kept the work area clean. Throughout the installation process, they kept me updated by providing me with valuable information on care and warranty instructions. They took great pride in their work and product. I will strongly recommend them to anyone looking for doors and windows.

Renaissance Windows installed Marvan double pane fiberglass windows in several locations in my West U house. Great windows, easy to paint outside replacement trim and there was no painting required inside the house. Window fit was just right. Windows have been in place for 3 years and continue to work as new.

More than 30 windows were replaced with Marvin infinity windows in Nov. 2014. Although their price is on the high end, but we really enjoyed our new windows. The quality of the products speak for themselves. Excellent service from beginning to the end. Salesman is very knowledgable and patient. Installation crew are very professional and experienced. They also provide excellent warranty. I High recommend this company for replacement windows.

We had a new front door installed. The product itself is outstanding. High security, looks great. It was installed in a about 90 minutes with no muss or fuss. Could not be more pleased. Looking to use these guys again for another project.

Renaissance replaced the windows in our new home and did an outstanding job. The staff was knowledgeable of their product line, and very responsive. Their measurements were accurate. The installation process was efficient and minimally disruptive to us while we were living there during the install. We had a small issue with one window being defective, and the quickly jumped on this to replace it at their expense. We were very satisfied.

We have hired Renaissance W&D twice in the past. We used them to replace all the windows in our previous home and then just recently to replace a few downstairs windows. When the time comes, they will be the ones to replace the upstairs windows on the back of our house too. I wouldn't trust anyone else. You may think they're more expensive when getting a quote (than, say, a certain Orange Store) but I promise that the workmanship, professionalism and courtesy are leaps and bounds above anyone else you're going to find. I was even amazed how well they clean up too! These guys will treat your home as they would treat their own. Always impressed with Renaissance... Don't bother with anyone else!

Replaced a whole house full of windows after a house fire. All were plumb level and no leaks, look better than they did before the fire.

I was very satisfied with the service provided with the installation of our windows that was purchase through Renaissance Windows and Doors, the Customer Service was above industry standard, Patricia & Wayne were there to answer any questions I had regarding the pricing, the installation, financing or just random questions I may have had.. I would purchase from the again for all my remodeling needs.

Renaissance installed four large Low-e Infinity windows with SDLs in our home. The windows were expensive- but not the most expensive option. We checked several companies and decided Infinity was the best price/quality option. We are very happy with the quality and look of the windows. Looking forward to seeing how much heat they keep out in the summer- they face West. The Renaissance guys did a wonderful job with the install- which I know is critical. The two guys were very professional, came on time, went right to work and knew what they were doing. We'll hire again when we decide to replace the other windows.
