I chose to work with Jeffrey Rexford based on his portfolio of work, which clearly demonstrates his emphasis on quality and attention to detail. His design philosophy is in line with what we were looking for in every way. We have since begun working with Jeffrey on a project that involves an ADU design as well as a kitchen remodel. From the beginning, Jeffrey has been extremely professional and a delight to work with. He responds in a timely manner to any questions, concerns or ideas we have. The quality of his designs are superior and I have the utmost confidence and faith in his ability to complete our project within budget and with the highest quality workmanship. I look forward to continuing the process with him! Although our project is still in the design phase, I am confident in Jeffrey’s abilities and I am excited about the outcome!

Jeff did an amazing job designing our kitchen and JADU. My wife and I could not see much potential in the original kitchen in our home but Jeff came up with a beautiful design. We absolutely love the way our kitchen and JADU came out, they are the most complimented rooms in our home. Working with Jeff was very pleasant. He communicated with us throughout the entire project and took care of any issues that arose. We both highly recommend his design services.

Jeffrey answered all my questions and came up with wonderful options that I had not thought were possible. He’s very easy to work with and a great communicator. We recently moved to N. Cal and purchased a house in Walnut Creek that hasn't been updated since the 60s. Not knowing anyone or anything about a "full home renovation", we started to do our due diligence in finding and architect/designer as a first step. After interviewing several candidates, we decided to work with Jeff Rexford of Rexford Design. In addition to Jeff's four decades of design and build experience, we went w Jeff because of his ability to clearly articulate the process, management of our expectations, and listening skills which were demonstrated by the designs he presented after we discussed our vision. Reflecting back on the process of seeing Jeff's 2-D renderings of our vision in the early stage and remembering "the Wow factor" when transferred and presented his 3-D virtual renderings to us made us certain that we made the right choice. We are now in the Permit Application Stage (that Jeff is taking point on), once we get approval we will bring our vision to reality w Jeff leading the way. Putting one's trust & money into someone is not an easy task. W Jeff, you can feel confident that you've made the right choice, we definitely are.

We were moving our business to a new location. We wanted to make the highest and best use of the space as possible. There were some things I knew I wanted in the building and approximate placements, but there were some challenges, especially in respect to where the existing plumbing was located. Jeff came in and took a look. He made measurements and came up with a 3D diagram. I was so impressed at how quickly he was able to get it done, and how he was able to make the vision in my head come out on paper! He figured out the wiring and ducting (it's an old building) so I could get A/C to where my new office is. We made a few tweeks to the design (a couple of times), and he made up a new 3D image and plans. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and patient and was able to work with us and what we wanted for the building and the business. He was also able to make it all happen within budget!

Jeff was the designer and then the project manager for the addition of a raised patio and pergola for our home. His design skills were magnificent including creative approaches to making the patio a real unique addition to our house. He is knowledgeable, patient, open to client ideas and able to compromise. I highly recommend him and would reuse him if I had another project.

Jeff Rexford design sense & style are impeccable. I added a master suite which included a walk in closet, master bath with sky light, stand alone tub, glass enclosed shower, double sinks, costume cabinets, huge picture window in the master bedroom, vaulted ceiling, built in shelf and much more. Besides taking into consideration the cottage style of the existing home, he listened to what I wanted. I found it imperative that he paid attention to all my ideas incorporating them into a masterful design. When I’m in the master suite, I look around and feel like I’m in a five star hotel. I live in a community that is known for design plans not passing through the town’s application process with at least one revision....not with Jeff's plan, they went through the first time, unheard of. I can recommend Rexford Design with the upmost confidence.
