Richard is a pleasure to work with. Friendly guy, frequently checked in. Always had good ideas for improving natural lighting and getting the most out of my space constraints.

Richard was hired for a large remodel of our 1980 house, which needed structural repairs and a wide range of updates from exterior siding, to windows, to bathrooms, plus enclosure of a large rear porch as an extension of the kitchen. Richard was personable, courteous and offered numerous innovative ideas during the design process. He made suggestions without imposing his personal preferences. As the design process evolved, Richard introduced us to several experienced contractors with whom he had worked in previous projects. This proved to be very beneficial, as he guided us through the construction estimating process, while suggesting alternate solutions to fit our budget. He also introduced us to structural and permitting professionals, who ensured the project met the required City of Austin codes. Even during the construction period, Richard continued to make suggestions to improve the comfort and aesthetics of the final product, which evolved into an outstanding realization of our initial ideas for the house. Richard was always responsive to our needs, prompt in communications, and fair in his fees. Now residing in the remodeled house, we miss the give and take of the creative design process we shared with Richard that successfully brought the project to fruition.
