Rutgers Painting

We have just had our house painted by Rutgers Painting for the second time in ten years. We might have saved a few dollars from another company, but knowing the fine job they did originally for us, and their work on other homes in our neighborhood, we knew quality was there. In all aspects they are absolutely professional; from the very detailed written contract, to the work ethic they have demonstrated, it was a pleasure doing business with Rutgers. We hired Rutgers to strip out house down to the wood, no easy task as reckon this hadn't been done since the house was erected 150 years ago ! They were professional, fast and always courteous. Any issues they solved immediately without any discussion or argument. Would definately hire them again.

Rutgers recently painted the exterior of our Maplewood home. We were very happy with the qualith of the work and they actually completed it sooner than they originally estimated. They we extremely professional from the time of the estimate to the final walk around when the work was finished. We would and did hire them again for our new home!

Our home was recently painted by Rutgers. From my initial phone call, to the end result, we could not be more pleased. Kevin, the owner, was honest and helpful. The painters were efficient, thorough, and paid great attention to detail. They were also incredibly kind to my three year old who had his eye on them every step of the way. The job was completed quickly (in even less than the week that was quoted!) and has given our home a much needed makeover. We definitely made the right choice when we chose Rutgers!

Miguel, the foreman, did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. We could not be happier with the quality of the carpentry work and the paint job. I've been doing significant renovations on my house in preparation for a sale this fall. I truly wish all my contractors were as good as Rutgers Painting. They were professional and did an excellent job painting over my home's hideous yellow siding. Were I ever inclined to buy a single-family home again (I'm not) I'd hire these guys in an instant.

I thought Rutgers Painting only did exterior however I was lucky enough to get my interior painted by one of their crews. They did a wonderful job and were finished in the time frame allowed. I love our accent wall, couldn't have asked for a nicer job.

I chose Rutgers Painting to paint and rehab my historic 1876 home because 2 of my neighbors had great and lasting results (one house that was painted 8 yrs ago looks like it was painted yesterday!). The cost was about the same as other estimates but Rutgers Painting went down to the bare wood, replaced failing boards and arranged for roofing experts to replace rotting Yankee gutters. The crew was very professional, listened to/answered my questions, was careful with plantings, and the clean-up was exceptional. They brought my 1876 home back to its glory and I am very satisfied!

We recently had our house painted by Kevin's crew - very pleased with the result! They took the entire house down to the wood - and kept the dust contained so I had no clean-up at all. The team led by Rafael was hard working and eager to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The house looks fabulous! It is a lengthy process but one that we believe will pay off. Kevin himself spent about 2 hours with us upfront to explain the "permanent" paint process and compare it to conventional paint. Although a significant investment it was not too much more than other estimates we obtained who offered less in terms of surface preparation and significantly less in terms of a warranty.

Worked with this company they are professional in every aspect from quoting to prep to job completion. They are a pleasure to work with and the paint is fantastic.
