The akaFORM experts designed our new construction home starting in 2013 and has assisted us with multiple design projects since then-- including a basement gym, patio design and a complete master bedroom remodel. Nothing is too small or large... picture frames and flowers, coloring suggestions to a closet rebuild. We are thrilled with the results and the work accomplished! Reasonably priced and deadlines were met. Highly recommend!

My wife and I absolutely love working with Samantha! She really listen to what we are going for and then blew us away with her enthusiasm and intensity of our project. Initially we were going to just do the kitchen and bath. once we saw all those returning out we redid both of our kids rooms, the master bath, and our room as well. it wasn't totally inexpensive, but was still $7,000 less for the kitchen and bath then we were quoted by three others. I feel like I'm coming home to new house, When we move we will have her design our new home entirely.

I have had the pleasure to work with Samantha for several years and on several different projects. She has an exquisite eye for detail and an ethusium to share her gifts with clients and co-workers. I have worked with many professionals in the Chicago area and put Samantha at the top of the list. My wife had Samantha design our kitchen and master bath and we receive complements every time it is first seen. She is also a consummate professional and goes to great lengths to explain the process to homeowners.

Sam is a good designer but she’s very hard to work with. The new bathroom addition at my place came out looking very nice and she also redecorated my house while I was on a trip by just moving things around and finding inexpensive but great looking items. She only charged me for the items she purchased, although she never gave me receipts so I imagine there was an up charge to the cost (but she never discussed it with me). My biggest issues came form Ietting her manage the full construction project for the bathroom addition, and that was a mistake. My project was well over budget, took much longer, and when we had a big bathroom leak due to plumber issues, she left me to deal with the plumber directly even though she hired the people to do the work. Sam doesn’t take feedback well and finds a way to blame the client when things don’t go as expected. When I recommended Sam to a friend, she had the same experience I’m describing: good designer but very hard to work with, particularly when issues arise.
