Don’t believe the positive reviews. They did a horrible job building our home. We have structural problems, electrical, and mold along with various other problems and they have refused to do anything about it. They are completely unethical. Do not buy!!! They are not even worth one star.

Please do yourself a favor and do your due diligence with this builder. While I like our neighborhood, the building process and interaction with the builder/company has been very unpleasant. The construction of the homes are subpar, they throw these houses up and there is evidence of poor craftsmanship on everything that is built/installed. The warranty process to fix the poorly constructed items is a joke. They are aware that 2-10 warranty can’t make them fix issues especially not in a timely fashion. Homeowners have waited anywhere from months to years to have workmanship issues fixed. We’ve had so many leaks due to poor errors and poor workmanship (we’ve lived in our home less than 1 year). When they aren’t lying to you they are ignoring emails and any other method of contact. They delete comments homeowners have made about the way they’ve handled things both on their Facebook page and on their website. They’ve promised residents a pool for YEARS (since 2015 or 2016) and there is STILL NO POOL! They recently scheduled a meeting with them, the management company, and residents. Scotch Homes failed to show to the meeting and left the management company holding the bag without the proper information needed to deal with issues they created. There are a host of other very SIGNIFICANT ISSUES, get everything in writing no matter what they say or how nice they seem! Pay for a separate inspection to be done and have all items fixed BFEORE CLOSING!!!! THEY ARE DISHONEST.

Scotch Homes did a fabulous job on our custom home. Great communication throughout the entire process and very professional. We would recommend reaching out to them if you plan on building your home. We were so pleased at the finished home that we later used them again to finish out our basement and outdoor space.

I contacted Scotch Homes when I wanted to build a large home and barn on my land. I had heard nightmares about working with contractors but this was a fantastic experience. Wayne Scotch met me on the land and worked very hard to build exactly the home I wanted. He worked straight through until it was finished and finished within my budget. The home is beautiful and Scotch Homes did an excellent job.
