Scott was a delight to work with! Super nice and easy to talk to. He listened to what we were thinking and really made it all a part of his plan. We have always lived on the East Coast, so CA plants were a total unknown to me. Scott helped me to learn about all the ones we were interested in. Our planting went well and now everything is settling in. In about a year or two, it is going to be a paradise, but it's already pretty amazing!

Scott was a pleasure to work with during the entire process. His ability to understand our needs as well as grasp the opportunities of the property was excellent. As someone with a strong sense of design, I was very pleased with his ability to work with us in a non dictatorial fashion. He listened, understood, and made clear the structural elements that were important, while also being flexible and compromising when our personal tastes and opinions were presented. In the end we have a garden that represents style, form, functionality, and personal preference and we could not be more thrilled…..nor can all our neighbors who constantly stop us and tell us how amazing the landscaping looks………Lauren Young!”

It has been wonderful to work with ZDA for our outdoor landscape design. We chose to work with ZDA because of their stellar reputation and beautiful portfolio of work that seemed to compliment our design aesthetic. Scott and Geoffrey have exceeded our expectations in taking our vision for our outdoor space (a total re-haul of the front and backyards which includes pool install) and turning it into a reality. We are so excited to see the finished project! Thank you ZDA!

Scott's been great to work with. We're building a new house back in the canyons and he's been very sensitive to what we want in terms of landscaping design and gardening while keeping the strict fire department constraints in mind.

Scott is a delight to work with. He exceeded expectations (which were high already). He was mindful of our budget and was fastidious about planning a landscape that blended beautifully with the architecture of our house. It even made the house look more interesting! He’s smart, considerate, has a great sense of humor — and obviously a lot of expertise. Highly recommend!

Scott Zucker was referred to me by my architect, Dean Larkin. I needed a very modern look for my landscape project. Scott accomplished this for my midcentury house. He was so easy to work with, listening to all my ideas and guiding me in the right direction. Coming up with great ideas and suggestions. I will continue to work with him in the future. He is honest and talented. I highly recommend having Scott design your landscape project.

I'm an Architect specializing in custom homes and renovations. I was brought onto a project where Scott had already been hired by the owner. After seeing the completed installation, I was impressed. I have since referred him to other clients. Scott is sensitive to budget and design. One client may prefer a "cutting edge" look with innovation in plant composition and selection. Another client may want something more traditional, a beautiful design, but lower maintenance and hardier plants. Scott is highly qualified to provide a design sensitive your needs.

Scott is currently working on a new ground-up home project for us. He cam highly recommended and we have been extremely happy. We had our own very specific design ideas, but were also very open to his suggestions and other ideas. Scott did an exceptional job blending our wants into the Design Review requirements to produce a vision that we were excited to see implemented. Additionally, when we hit a few budgetary bumps during installation, he was very quickly provided alternative options to meet our needs. Scott has been very flexible in his approach with us. He has patiently guided the design process and his expertise has been a great asset. At this point we are nearly ready to submit the plan to the city planning department and tocontractors for bidding.

I am currently working on a project with Scott Zucker. As an architect, I look for a Landscape Architect who is creative, competent, knowledgeable with both softscape and hardscape, has good documentation practices and can communicate well with clients and me. And finally he/she must be able to create a landscape design that respects and compliments the direction of the architectural design. I have found Scott to be excellent with all of the above. He has a nuanced understanding of the architectural direction and has enhanced the project with a wonderful design and fresh new ideas. I look forward to the final implementation.
