Sellentin True Design Build

Jeff Sellentin was the construction manager for the high end luxury town home I purchased on Queen Anne in Seattle. Quality is extremely high, with thoughtful designs, lovely layouts, and top-notch finish work. We are incredibly happy with his work, and would absolutely hire Jeff again!

I admit to having fired one contractor, and giving another two days to finish and get out. Finding Sellentin True Design is like hitting the motherlode, and I have become a repeat client. Simply, Jeff and his colleagues do quality work. The bonus is that they are honest, skilled, hardworking, knowledgeable, personable, and respectful. Jeff has great design skills and a wealth of resources. He brings humor to the stressful construction process. He listens to the client. He sketches in Sharpie! My home seems like a never-ending remodel, in phases. Jeff drew up architectural designs and navigated the LNI electrical and King County permitting processes to transform a dark, cold, slab concrete basement into a bright, comfortable, usable space. He was even willing to work late nights during the week of Christmas in order to reach a goal before I left town. During Phase 2 of the remodel, he corrected poor electrical work, and has taken a dated main entry level, living/dining rooms, and bedrooms into what my girlfriends call a "magazine quality" showpiece. No doubt he will be invited back for phase 3.

Mr. Sellentin is a true professional. From his craft of installing and helping home owner's ideas come to life, to his easy-going nature that makes it a true pleasure to work with him. Jeff will always be up front with you in regards to the project at hand. Phenomenal installations and great people.

Jeff and his company have provided design and construction services for our home over many years. Sometimes we have major work that needs attention and at other times its small projects. We use him time and again because he is honest, hard working and does a great job (whether the project is big or small). We would not hesitate to recommend him and Sellentin True Design Build to anyone and would certainly be our first call the next time we have a project.

We are extremely pleased with the kitchen remodel and lighting updates Jeff and his team of skilled craftsmen did in our home. We didn't have to do anything but sit back and watch it all happen during the entire project. Jeff Sellentin was the construction manager for a three town home unit we built on Queen Anne in Seattle. These homes are very high end-luxury units, each about 3,000 square feet. Jeff managed the project from excavation to completion and occupancy permit. He provided design services during construction when we made changes and he provided detail design for finishes, landscaping and entry gates and property fences. Jeff was able to bring professional craftsmen to the job from plumbing, flooring, tile, concrete to finish carpentry. Each was a master in their own right. This was a very complex project with many unique building code requirements requiring permit drawings beyond the usual. Jeff was able to provide those services and secure permits as needed. We began the project in late summer of 2007 and finished in the Fall of 2008. Construction value; over $2.0 million I would retain Sellentin True Design again.

Jeff Sellentine is a Wonderful Man, and was True Artist with my house! Jeff is a Very Talented Architect, an outstanding listener, and is unusually Respectful of the home owner! He is also an Honest Man... Jeff is my Builder for Life, if I need a new home or another home Remodeled I will Call Jeff Sellentine!

Jeff Sellentin, the owner and architect, worked with us from the initial stages of developing what we wanted to do and how much we wanted to spend to coming up with a final plan that took both into account, and finally, construction. The goal was to add living space, an extra bedroom/office and revamp our entry. Prior to the addition (left side of the outdoor photo), our house looked like it stopped abruptly. With the addition it looks much better and we love the front porch. Our was a relatively small addition of 500sf that enabled us to create a completely open space on the main floor of our late 70s tri-level home (entry, dining, kitchen and living area). We wanted to work with someone who was flexible enough to allow us to do some of the work ourselves in order to cut down on the cost and Jeff was very accommodating. We hired Jeff to go from design through finished drywall and have been working on the rest ourselves (please note that the kitchen, which is not pictured, is still unfinished but that's on our to do list, not Jeff's!). We're very pleased with the results and have had lots of compliments from friends and family about how comfortable it feels. Like most construction projects, it took longer than expected, and cost a little more than expected, but it is well built and we expect to enjoy our new space for many years to come.
