Oren and his team, led by Milton, were the absolute best when we gutted and redid our kitchen. Professional, kind, communicative, proactive and fair - everything you'd want in a company you invite into your home and are asking to make big changes! We've already personally recommended them to friends and family but cannot sing their praises more highly. Literally no complaints, and I know that is often not the case with contractors! They came in way ahead of schedule, and we always felt taken care of, seen, appreciated, and respected. We are planning more projects in the future and already know without a doubt we'll work with them again!

South land Remodeling did a fantastic job transforming our kitchen. Our home was built in the 1920s and the kitchen was extremely dated and tiny. Ilan and his team did a great job expanding the kitchen out and updating everything from new walls, floors, cabinets etc. he walked us through the entire process from initial kitchen design renderings to blue prints to picking out fixtures. Our kitchen looks great now and I can't be happier. Their bid was fair and Ilan especially was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely communicative throughout the process and he hustles. As soon as our permits were approved, our project moved at light speed and was fully completed within four months. I highly recommend Southland and especially Ilan and will be using them for future house projects.

We had a great experience working with Southland. Everyone in the company was great and they did fabulous work. We did an addition as well as renovating. Milton, who was with us everyday, doing the work was fantastic. Can't say enough great things there! I would highly recommend working with Southland.

My experience with Ilan and South Land Remodeling has been excellent. Our family had a very unique circumstance in that we needed the bulk of the job finished in exactly 4 weeks in order for my family to move into the house and we were due to have our second baby in 6 weeks. I met with 5 contractors on a Friday and a couple of them told me it would be impossible for us to move in 4 weeks. I immediately felt that Ilan understood the job, was honest about what was feasible and how much things might cost (and the current delays with getting products due to covid) and was importantly someone I could easily work with in terms of personality. He was the only one who followed up with me that same evening with estimated pricing and even a quote for patio doors we wanted. Given the urgency of our challenging job it was surprising not to get the same follow up from the other contractors (some didn't respond to me for several days). All of these factors led us to choose SLR and we signed contracts and he had workers in the house the following Monday morning. For the most part, we knew what we wanted done and the type of materials we wanted to use and SLR executed our vision perfectly and Ilan was still there with me at every appointment to choose wood floors, tile, marble etc. and to help get discounts and guide me when I wasn't sure if things could logistically work. Ilan was wonderful to work with and was also so easy to communicate with - I could text him or call him at any time and he kept me in the loop at every stage. At one point there were 12 different "teams" in the house working overtime to get the job done in time for us to move in. There have been a few delays but nothing that held us back from moving in comfortably on the date I confirmed and the delays were due to the product vendors, not Ilan's team. They honestly did the job faster than I even expected. We are so happy with how everything turned out and love our house so much. I made last minute changes and additions and nothing came as a surprise price wise. I would absolutely hire them again and will when we have more time to completely redo our bathroom! It's such a personal decision and experience, but for me working with Ilan and SLR was the best decision we made. I honestly don't think anyone else could've done the job in the time frame we had and Ilan really worked to ensure all of his teams knew the urgency of the job while also ensuring high quality work.

AMAZING ! I have worked with Southland Remodeling for over 3 years now primarily on residential projects. I’m a residential designer and having Oren as the Contractor on the job has been key in turning what can be a complicated process into one that is easy to navigate. Oren and his crew are simply the best. They are communicative, reliable, knowledgeable and their work has exceptional quality. Oren is very attentive with his clients, always makes sure things are running smoothly and on time, and he has a positive attitude when it comes to problem solving (which is so important during remodels, especially!) Great job. Friendly, and talented people. I've used South Land Remodeling on a couple remodels (kitchen and floor) and the quality of the work is very high. The few problems I've had (I wanted a last minute change or there was a flaw in some of the material I had chosen) they helped me through it without any hassle. No complaints.

We hired South Land for a very significant job involving gutting down kitchen, bathrooms and changing the front facade of the house, attic insulation etc. and took 2 weeks over the quoted time. Reasons for the overage include our inexperience being first time home owners, not knowing what expect or understanding the timelines. South Land came in about 20% more expensive than others but their contractor Mickey seemed to have a great vision. So we went with them. Nature of construction is such that you'll see lots of unforeseen hiccups: they will tear open a ceiling and find there's some joist that needs work; many contractors will up charge you and issue a change work order. Southland and Mickey didn't do that. They had some electrical work they didn't anticipate upfront because the city inspector insisted on some changes. Southland just made it happen - I've heard about cost overrun nightmares from some others and I'm dealing with shoddy work from a different contractor but Southland came thru - what they said on contract, they delivered. This is partly because Oren runs a professional and ethical operation. Southland also has an office manager - Andre, who is super responsive, gives you a breakdown of the charges, sends you the bills and invoices in case you need them for tax offsets or subsidies etc. Plus he takes great pictures. Check out their instagram page. A learning: As with most things in life you'll run into hiccups. Nothing in life is perfect and if any review tells you so, be skeptical! What you should ask yourself is on the balance did things turn out good and are you happy? If the answer is yes, then be thrilled. A case in point example is we thought we'd get some garage drywall that didn't happen. To be fair, it wasn't on contract. BUT, Southland gave us a double pane window and sized up the window just because we didn't like what we originally had - that wasn't in the contract either, but they just made it happen. So instances where there's customer delight like that stay with you. Thus, on the balance, it was all good. And finally, the proof is in the pudding. See the pictures. Judge for yourself. We've gotten good reviews from professional realtors to friends and family. We have also gotten after installation support from Oren - they fixed a few issues since the construction. Hire Mickey and Oren. They'll leave you happy.

South Land Remodeling delivered us our dream master bathroom! It was everything we had imagined and more. This being our first major remodel, we were new to the process, but Ilan and his team walked us through each step. As with any remodel, we ran into a few hiccups, but Ilan quickly had any issues corrected so that we were completely happy. From start to finish, it was a great experience. Our new master bath has brought us so much joy! We already have other projects in mind for our condo, and we will definitely be using South Land Remodeling again!

I recently finished a remodel with SLR. Mickey was our lead contractor. I am very satisfied with the results. They finished on schedule, and costing only slightly more than the original quote. We had a few hiccups along the way, as is normal with any renovation. However, I think they did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone doing a remodel.

After considering many other companies, I hired South Land Remodeling for a significant remodel of the exterior of my house. They helped me to find an amazing designer / architect and turned our dreams into reality. I've enjoyed working with Ilan, Oren and their great hardworking team! They are always available by phone, they were patient with all of my changes as we went through the job, and they do great work! We are now looking at several further projects with them in the coming years. Highly recommended!

When we bought our new house we knew it was going to need a bit of remodeling (who wants kitchen tile in the living room?). We talked to several contractors, but Ilan from South Land Remodeling clearly knew his stuff. It was the best decision we could have made. Check out the before and after photos below. SLR had experts for every specialty, and they all did great work: Joshua for the tile; Jose, Sam and Jeffrey painting; but the carpenters Enrique and Eric in particular were outstanding. I don’t get to use the word “craftsmanship” often these days, but they brought it. Every little detail got taken care of, including one or two surprises that we hadn’t anticipated. Then halfway through the remodel we discovered serious water damage underneath the balcony. The balcony needed to be replaced, along with an entire the wall of the garage. Ilan knew exactly what needed to be done, and brought in Milton and his crew Ever and Jesus. They took out all the rotten wood and rebuilt everything, including comprehensive waterproofing (and sloping the balcony so the water now runs off the front instead of pooling near the house – why wasn’t that done from the beginning?). I've added a picture of the deck as well. We still have more work to do, and these are our go-to guys now. Talk to them -- you won’t regret it.

We chose South Land Remodeling for our kitchen remodel based on a recommendation from a friend, and we're so glad we did. The assigned project manager was very experienced, helping us come up with a very functional yet visually appealing kitchen plan including the coordinated selection of materials (flooring, cabinets, counter top, and back splash).
