Johanna has designed the interior of our kitchen extension. She proposed various layouts and styles. She then went into details of designing the kitchen, wall and flooring as well as decoration and lighting. We are delighted with the result. On a personal level Johanna was a pleasure to deal with. Johanna did an excellent job re-designing my newly bought flat. I was very impressed by how she managed to quickly pick up on what I liked and didn’t like and then began perfectly tailoring suggestions to my style. I also really appreciated her patience and the amount of times she went above and beyond to cater for additional requests or to keep looking for alternative options if something wasn’t quite right.

Johanna was a real pleasure to work with. Our brief was not straight forward, my partner and I have very different styles, but Johanna skilfully blended them to give us a look we both love. Our builders were a complete nightmare but Johanna was very understanding and supportive when delivery dates had to be pushed back and the project ran on many months more than we had initially expected. Unlike many interior designers we discussed the project with, Johanna was very transparent with the trade discounts she gets and passes these on to clients which can substantially reduce the overall cost of her service which was already competitively priced. We had no idea about the amount of work involved in a full renovation project and could never have done it without Johanna's vision, attention to detail and amazing coordination skills. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Speaking of Interiors to friends and family. Whether we'd ever embark on another full renovation project... well that's another story.

Johanna is a joy to work with - very creative yet very organised ( normally the two don’t go together) . She has a real eye for detail and a flair for putting colours together, creating space where it’s hard to imagine and she made my house look like a show home. I love the way it looks and she also managed all the traders involved to get a really great result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the fact is her fees are fair and she really takes care of everything. I can’t wait to work with her again in the future.

My girlfriend and I spoke to Johanna at Speaking Of Interiors to help us when we moved in together. It was an unfurnished rental so we needed everything from lamps to a new bed! I must say, the experience was absolutely brilliant. The list of suppliers and options presented to us was really useful, and she worked hard to help find us the right options based on the move-in date (we had a pretty tight deadline so couldn't wait for custom builds, etc). By laying everything out like that and working with us to establish the vibe we were trying to create, Johanna put us at ease instantly... and turned a potentially stressful situation into a really exciting one. Her ability to work around our budget and time restrictions in particular was superb. We would definitely work with her again.
