SP Light and Design

Founded in 1929 by Renzo and his family, Valenti was firstly specialised in metalworking. In 1968 the Company faces a first big challenge: entering the world of Industrial Design. The new, but strong, Ecolight brand was born. The success was immediate and many internationally renowned architects such as Studio Tetrarch, Olaf Von Bohr, Isao Osoe and Ezio Didone wanted to collaborate. The company smoothly emerged on the Italian and international markets. The daughters, Carla and Laura, worked with great passion to guarantee the growth and success of the company. In 2013, SP light and Design was born from the desire of Carla and her husband Luciano to pursue the family business. Their eldest daughter, Eleonora, also joins the Company, bringing new ideas and inspirations. In 2018, after years of dedication, a first original collection, named Diva, was launched on the market. Now as then, thanks to family’s commitment, enthusiasm and passion, SP light and Design continues to thrive. Constantly working in search of beauty and quality, the Company has a new challenge to face: make something that won’t only be known for its beautiful design but also for its innovative technology. Our team is well combined, made by a group of young, enthusiastic people, open to innovation and willing to treasure the past experiences to build only the best. We work with great designers and we support research. We are driven by curiosity to test new materials and inspired by new styles. Our aim is harmony, found in art and nature, our Muses.
