Hired Square1 to repair some flood damage. Workmanship was good, everyone was polite and cleaned up their messes . Our only complaint was with billing. The painter examined his own work, and mentioned he wasn't satisfied with it and intended to do another coat. At no time were we informed that there would be additional charges. There was no signed or verbal authorization for the additional work. We weren't asked. Despite that, Square1 held back the additional painting charges ($377) from the insurance proceeds and ignored our attempts to contact them to discuss it. Bottom line: good work, but get absolutely everything in writing and make it clear you do not authorize anything beyond the written scope. And if possible, make your insurance company pay you directly for everything.

Our job was quoted to last 2-3 weeks. He was paid half the money up front for supplies. 2 weeks into the job, I was informed that my kitchen cabinets were 2 weeks out. I was told i could find another solution by myself or wait the 2 weeks for the cabinets he wanted to install. (I had already told the guy i didn't like the style, but he pushed them, so I finally aggreed after being pressured into this style) I found a new cabinets that I loved, but he told me he didn't have time to pick them up. Then he informed my husband that he didn't have the funds to pay for them. At this point, he should have only spent at the very most 20-25% of what he was paid up front. From this point on, every time we questioned what was going on, he threatened to walk away from the job. We had to finish some of the work that he was hired to do or hire someone else to finish the job. As far as the kitchen cabinets went, I went and designed it, I wemt and picked them up, I assembled them, I put on the doors and knobs. All they did was screw them to the wall. This company is a scam. Please, do not hire them.

Rob and his crew started out good but finished very poorly. Turned a 3 to 4-week project into me extending the deadline after 90 days. Some of his work was good but other portions were low quality. Some of the work I ended up having to do myself because he said it wasn't possible to find people to do it. Some work had to be done two or three times because they couldn't do it right. Felt like we were put on the back burner and had no priority to complete work. Was also lied to about progress and availability of products. Everything I have has been documented and saved in case anybody has questions. Prices and work was high and was my fault for not clarifying. Prices on some work were very high which I accepted but also expected better craftsmanship because of paying a good price.

Rob and his company did a wonderful job of replacing all my hardwood floors in my house. They completed the entire job within a couple weeks, with taking out the old flooring, pulling up all the excess nails, my vanity in my downstairs bathroom and all my appliances. I highly recommend them to do all your remodeling or insurance claims. I will definitely use them again.

Rob and Ehren remodeled our 4 bathrooms in 12 days. New floor, vanities, toilets, mirrors, lighting, paint - -the whole works. Excellent custom tile work. Their work ethic and workmanship was on point.They did an awesome job on the whole project. Always showed up when they said they would, communicated each day as needed, checked placement and asked questions as appropriate. I would highly recommend them for any remodel or general construction job. We plan to have them do more work this summer and have recommended them to several friends, which is the highest recommendation we can give.

Outstanding work...and results on our bathroom upgrade. We valued the efficiency, helpfulness, high quality work demonstrated by Rob and his crew. They were at the job site when they said they would be, took steps to keep our house clean even during demo and going up and down the steps, worked steadily to complete the job - on time and on budget. It was a good experience and we would definitely recommend them .

Ehren and Rob did an outstanding job on our bathroom update, we are extremely happy with the results and the timely fashion in which the work was completed. The quality of craftsmanship is exceptional and we appreciated their open communication in regards to product selection and the attention to detail on installation. Looking forward to the next project which has been booked and is due to start in early 2017!

My husband and I wanted to bring our kitchen and two of our bathrooms form the 1980's into the 21st century. Rob and Ehren did a wonderful job as general contractors on this project. The project was completed on time and at the budgeted amount. They were professional, kept us informed, and listened to us when we wanted to make a couple of changes. There were trustworthy and managed subcontractors efficiently and effectively. When we told them we wanted to make a change they were clear about our options, the costs, and the time required. The kitchen and bathrooms are even more beautiful than we anticipated. We will readily hire them again when it is time to complete our next major project.

We came home from a week long vacation to a flooded home. Almost the entire home was covered in water . The insurance company was great! The General Contractor that we originally hired was not so great. Complete lack of communication and no work being done for days on end. Needless to say my husband and I were at our wits end and tired of living in a hotel. Rob and Ehrin then became the General Contractors. They completed more work in 5 days than had been completed in 5 weeks. The communication, labor, attention to detail , empathy and workmanship were all stellar and top notch. At the end of the day they just wanted us to be happy and to say that we are happy is an understatement. We would highly recommend Square 1 to anyone looking to do any type of remodeling on their home.
