Stacey Kocevar Designs, LLC

Stacey designed our galley kitchen and the bathroom in our condo at River View Manor, a historic building on Front Street in midtown Harrisburg. The first project Stacey managed was our kitchen. We love that she not only appreciated the detail of the 1927 architecture and designed a beautiful and interesting kitchen despite its small size, she took into account that we love to cook and that it needed to stand up to a lot of use. She integrated every element, including our washer / dryer, and she maximized every bit of space. The kitchen overlooks the dining room, and she made a seamless transition so that the two work in harmony. She was with the project every step of the way, consulting with one of Mother Hubbard's extraordinarily wonderful contractors, Matt. The detail of carpentry is incredible. We loved our kitchen so much that we didn't hesitate to hire Stacey and the Mother Hubbard team to design our small (5' x 6') bathroom. It too is an amazing space.

Stacey has designed both a kitchen and bath for us over the years that has exceeded our wildest expectations. Her amazing work has lead to lots compliments and many jealous neighbors. If you are in Central PA you need to contact Stacey. You won’t be disappointed!

This maybe a sort of different review because Stacey's employer, Mother Hubbard Custom Cabinetry, hired ME to work with Stacey but I naturally do form an opinion, like we all do, about everyone we've worked with so here is mine about her. One of the first things that a photographer looks for in a client is how organized they are with not just a shoot list but in they're way of organizing they're thoughts. The other thing we look for is how open they are to suggestions. After all when it comes to photography we are the experts. Stacey got high marks on both, on every assignment we've worked together on, and as an added bonus she was pleasant to work with too! I've worked with many art directors and designers in my 40 year career and she stands up there at the top. No kidding! Looking forward to working with her and for MHCC again.

We have worked with Stacey on 2 major projects - first, a major renovation of our kitchen and then a complete make-over of the master bath. When we met with Stacey at the beginning of both projects, she listened to our ideas and asked questions to understand our needs and expectations. With that information in hand, she began the designs, met with us to "tweak" the specifics, and produced final designs that were really impressive. We truly valued her opinion on what would work and what wouldn't when we fleshed out the details. During the actual renovations, Stacey was hands-on and present through the entire processes. When we decided to remodel our kitchen we interviewed several different companies before deciding on Stacey and Mother Hubbard. We couldn't have made a better choice! We had a vision of what we were looking for in a kitchen but Stacey helped to make that vision a reality. She listened carefully to everything we told her and came up with the perfect design. Her attention to detail is amazing and her dedication to her clients is unprecedented. The project seemed to run smoothly from start to finish and Stacey was there every step of the way. Mother Hubbard is a first class, top notch company that truly delivers the best! I would highly recommend Stacey and Mother Hubbard to anyone looking to remodel/redesign their kitchen.

Stacey was a delight to work with on our complete kitchen remodel. She listened carefully to us to ascertain what we were trying to accomplish and the space obstacles we were trying to overcome. She also keyed in to our taste preferences. She was able to put together not only a beautiful design, but one that maximized our space and she came up with some amazingly creative options. She closely supervised the project and immediately handled any issues that came up. She was always very enthusiastic and conscientious. I'm already missing her.

As a professional working in a field that endeavors to always be in the realm of zero defect, the experience with Stacey and her network, was as close as you can get. I observed her interaction with all the specialists and was absolutely amazed at her ability to communicate our shared vision of the project. The end result was a room of dreams. Never afraid to dig in and get it done and her depth of knowledge, well....I'm still shaking my head in wonder.

As we started to plan our kitchen renovation we spoke to many designers at several companies before signing a contract with Stacey Kocevar. Stacey is incredibly talented and what sets her apart is her ability to listen and develop a functional beautiful design that meets your requirements. In our case she worked very hard to think out of the box to develop a solution to meet every single one of our "must haves". During construction, her attention to detail and customer service skills were outstanding. We love our new kitchen, wouldn't change a single thing, and have not had to call back once. Everything was completed perfectly the first time.

Stacey listened to us in designing a new kitchen layout and helped in making sure that our aesthetics were reflected in the final result. Stacey managed all of the interactions with the various contractors and sub-contractors and assured that the final renovation was done timely, within budget, and was of high quality. We love our new kitchen!
