About Us

We are a family run business based in Alcester specialising in Designing and Making Kitchens, Bedrooms and Studies. With over 25 years of experience and knowledge, Steven James Gordon has 'carved' his name out as one of the leading Cabinet Makers in the country. We take pride in the fact we make all our own Kitchens and Furniture in our workshop in Alcester, Warwickshire. We work with both the general public and trade customers including architects, developers, builders and interior designers. We combine modern living and design with traditional skills to create truly handmade Bespoke Kitchens and Furniture pieces at very affordable prices. We offer a range of modern, classic and traditional Kitchen styles and finishes.

In 2013 I had my kitchen installed by Steven James Kitchens. Excellent design, help, advice and price helped me to go ahead and the installation carried out. Everything was completed on time and within the quote to a very high standard. In 2018 there was a problem with one of the drawers not closing properly due to heavy use. No problem an email to the company and a prompt response for the and the problem was fixed in no time. The person who resolved the issue was polite, knowledgeable and professional. It proves that this company provides excellent after care service.

Steven James kitchens. Provided a professional service throughout our kitchen refurbishment. New Kitchens are generally very stressful times for a homeowner but Steve and his whole team put us at ease even with a tight schedule just before Christmas. There safe working practices while on site where exemplary. And costings where on par with the service we received. Will be contacting them in the near future to commission more furniture around our home next year with out question.

The end product is always of a high standard and reflects the design aspirations we have agreed in the early concept stages. The classic looks that are achieved mask the latest technology and complexities simple and elegantly.

Commented: Can you tell me what colour the AGA and cabinets are please?We painted the cabinetry in Farrow & Ball Bone and the Aga was the customers own and believe it is duck egg blue.
