Studio 1212

We ordered a small kidney bean table from Studio 1212. The piece is of high, durable quality. We receive compliments on it all of the time!

The furniture was great, exactly as advertised and very good quality. It shipped on time and received with no issues. I'd recommend this company very highly.

I sit at my desk a lot, and am very particular about how it fits me. I wanted a short (24" high), beautiful, L-shaped, small (less than 42" x 65") desk. I loved the whimsy, beauty, and simplicity of Derek's boomerang coffee table, and asked if he could make a similar desk for me. It took a number of emails back and forth to work out the details. I had suggestions, and so did Derek. I was worried that he would get tired of my detailed questions and concerns, but he stuck with me. Eventually we settled on a design that fits my corner better than a true boomerang. Derek gave me an estimate of when to expect the desk to be shipped, and sent detailed shipment tracking information. The desk arrived when expected, in perfect shape. It's beautiful, and it fits me perfectly.

We could not be happier with our 50" Kidney Bean and 22" Square Solid Walnut tables w/ Pearsall Bases and the overall experience placing the order and communications with Derek. The quality and beauty of the tables is outstanding. They were better than we hoped and we have received a lot of positive comments from our friends and family.

I purchased the mini kidney bean coffee table as a gift for my son and his gf for their small DC apartment. They love it! Derek was great to work with; although, the coffee table was in stock when I ordered it, I asked him to delay shipping as the recipients were out of the country. He shipped it exactly as asked and it arrived two days after their return. I would definitely purchase from Studio1212 again.

Great cocktail table, perfect for mid century decor. The wood tabletop is beautiful and well crafted. The piece looks a lot more expensive then it is. We had a little issue with initial shipment (wrong legs), but Studio 12 12 corrected it quickly and cheerfully. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Derek did a great job on our tables! We used them for a new office and they compliment the retro yet contemporary look we chose for the space. We got two coffee tables, two round end tables and a triangular occasional table. They look fabulous; the wood is nicely finished and beautiful and the legs are perfect. He was able to make them, custom in the sizes we needed and still meet a price that was lower than the contract furniture we had originally considered but the client couldn't afford. I think we lucked out, because we saved them money and they look better! There was one mess-up with a table leg, but Derek Fed-Ex'd a replacement right away and even provided a gift in apology - over the top nice.

Derek has been a delight to work with. We have purchased three coffee tables from Studio 1212 (Mid Century Modern Coffee Table - Kidney Bean Shaped Amorphic Curves - Atomic Era Design In Natural Bamboo). All tables were beautiful! Impeccable finish, lovely natural bamboo color, fun design, easy assembly. These tables go with anything and truly make the space feel special. I highly recommend working with Derek and hope to be able to do so again one day!

It was a pleasure to work with Derek who answered all our questions very promptly and was determined to understand our vision of a coffee table. The quality of the work and of the wood finishing is very high, and the item was carefully packed. No damage in transport whatsoever and small spare components like screws were included just in case. We are very happy with our custom made coffee table which is the unifying piece of the furniture in our dinning and living area.

Studio 1212 built two coffee tables for me in a mid modern style. They were prompt and accommodating and customized my orders to my dimensions. They used good materials and the workmanship was excellent. They are very responsive to communication. I was pleased with their service.

We ordered the yin yang coffee table through Etsy from Studio 1212 (Derek) He responded quickly to each text and inquiry, the shipping was as promised, the table was packed well , and the finished product is exactly what we envisioned! Derek is great - beautiful designs, very responsive, and super high quality work. The problem is that this is supposed to be outdoor furniture - its so nice and well constructed that I had difficulty moving it out of my living room and onto the patio. This would look great anywhere. And because this was for a special event, I had a special request, and he worked with me to make it great. Couldn't be happier.
