About Us

Regina Correa is the lead designer at Studio Riche Designs. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, she came to New Orleans on vacation on what was supposed to be a 2-month-vacation, which then became her permanent home. For more than 15 years Regina has pursued her passion for Interior Design and Art. The core of her professional training includes an Associate's degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor's degree in Art History. As a designer who speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish, she exhibits an international flair in her work while remaining committed to the core values of design. Regina has developed a keen eye that allows her to create fearlessly. In her opinion, good design should not be part of a category or type but stand solely on its own merit. At Studio Riche Designs we believe anyone can have a beautiful, comfortable, and functional place to call home. Regina designed our Condo in New Orleans and did an excellent job. She showed great interior design knowledge and creativity by picking colors, furniture and textiles which not only showed taste, but also fit to the type of Condo we own, with its particular history and place in its neighborhood. She did all that on a budget we gave her. Furthermore she helps manage the property and communicates with the renters, so that we don't have to worry about anything. Very happy with her work!

It was amazing working with Regina! I was a little intimidated to take on redecorating my new house on my own. Regina opened my eyes and helped me to find my own vision for what is making our house a home. She showed me how to use bold vibrant colors in a way I had never thought of before. She taught me that it's ok to try something with paint because if you don't like it, it's an easy fix. She came up with furniture selections that easily fit w/in our budget and she was just fun and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her!

Regina visited our home and offered excellent suggestions for updating our kitchen and master bath. She incorporated our must haves into her design plan with ease! She is extremely professional yet very personable and her services are offered at a fair price. Regina has an eye for color and I love the cool tones she selected. She also worked within my budget and helped me find the right piece at the right price. She knows her stuff, is very personable and easy to work with. I also appreciate her contacts with contractors and her discerning eye. Everything had to be perfect to pass her inspection. I had the pleasure of working with Regina to redesign my living room, dining room, den and child's bedroom. Regina was professional, thorough, personable and a pleasure to work with. Her knowledge and expertise were evident in the work she did from the initial consultation to the final presentation. She meet deadlines, eagerly answered questions, always responded in a timely manner, and exhibited a lot of patience with me. I was very pleased with the quality of her work, her style, and the smart and innovative choices she made with my space. Unfortunately, because I hired her for the design phase and will be doing the execution of the project myself, I am unable to provide you with photos of the final product at this time. However, I envision a great look and the plans that Regina came up with will make my job easy.
