My husband and I worked with Stephan to create a custom wide oak floor that is just to die for. The finish is custom too and looks so modern and absolutely flawless. We wanted to put beams in our kitchen which has a high ceiling and open layout, but the way the house was built it couldn't be supported so Stephan suggested "box beams" which look solid, but are actually hollow. They were perfect! We could not be more thrilled. The knowledge that was provided by their whole team of experts from concept, to fabrication, to install, we felt very confident and our home could not be more beautiful!

Hunter and the gang are top notch. We had a unique project that was way out of our league and required some expert help (advice, recommendations, the whole nine yards). Surface took on our problem and we couldn't be happier with the solution. If you are looking for woodworking of any type, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't reach out to these guys. And, they're just plain cool folks.

We are beyond thrilled with the reclaimed hit and miss flooring that Surface Architectural Supply installed in our new room. The floors, plus the decorative hewn beams and mantle, add so much character to the space. Everyone who sees it absolutely loves it. Hunter and his team were courteous, timely, and responsive. They never left us guessing as to what the schedule was. They were a pleasure to work with and their materials are the best you can find anywhere. Can’t stress it enough, the flooring made the room. It is gorgeous.

Amazing! I wandered in the showroom one day (before the showrooms was officially open) and the owner, Hunter spent a ton of time with me showing off all the reclaimed wood and all the steps involved in going from lumber to ready to install product. I knew instantly that I wanted the random width reclaimed wormy chestnut for our flooring. After a second trip, bring my husband along... and checking out all the competition. We were delighted to discover that reclaimed wormy chestnut milled just for us - was comparable in price to boxed flooring - and much more beautiful!!! So, we sat down with Hunter again and picked out exactly what we wanted. He helped set us up with flooring installers that were familiar with this type of specialty flooring. And NOW we have the floors that I have always wanted! (If we ever move, I'll have Hunter mill flooring for that house too!) And they delivered a week earlier than they quoted. Hunter and his crew were great to work!

Amazing showroom and it translates to your home. Hunter is one of the greatest craftsman i've ever worked with. Great reclaimed wood projects. Truly the highlight of our custom home. He/they get a 100 perfect score
