Sue and her team did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodeling job. We felt at ease right away with her - and her team of staff, contractors and consultants. She "got it" right away with our vision for the design and helped us make good choices that we are very happy with. She is professional and responsive and we felt taken care of the entire process. Very Impressed with Hough Construction. Our home has a large porch facing a Lake and required a total rebuild after 40 years of use. Other companies had recommended removing the roof entirely to access a defective main beam and rafters, but Sue Hough and her architect offered a different approach. By jacking up the roof progressively with much care, her crew was able to replace the ridge beam and the rafters with LVL material. Sue also recommended wider board ceilings with a special stain to give our porch a more modern look. Her crew was always on time and worked diligently to meet our target start to finish dates. As an added bonus they also removed and put in new screens around the entire perimeter of the porch. Each day all debris was removed and equipment stored. The price for the project was more than competitive and I would like to finish by highly recommending Hough Construction to anyone looking for quality and reliable work. We love our beautiful home created by Hough Construction Company. The construction and materials are of the highest quality, and the design is top notch and beautifully done. It seems everything is upgraded and the design choices are all well thought out to create a beautiful whole. In particular the windows and woodwork are gorgeous, and the kitchen is spectacular! Details like a showpiece staircase and front door make this house a gem. Sue and Josh are a pleasure to work with, their aim is to deliver excellence and they have succeeded with this home. They are always available and have followed up on any issues or questions we have had.

We had Hough Construction do a bath remodel. They did an excellent job. We were pleased the way the project turned out and it came in on budget. We had a few changes in the project and they were able to accommodate us easily. They are very innovative with creative ideas. The workmen are trustworthy, talented, communicative and very easy to work with. Sue is always accessible and answers her phone. Follow up is great. We will be hiring them again for a master bath remodel and updating in the great room. Prices are competitive as would be expected of a quality contractor.
