From sales to support this was a cringe. Tacheny requested payment in full before work could begin. Tacheny project team completely non-responsive to basic questions. Tacheny work crew damaged shrubbery around the house, left cables they removed hanging from home, and failed to complete some of the work in the agreement. And now, water is streaming into our home when it rains. Yup, the Tachney workers damaged our gutter system causing flooding into walls when it rains. To be fair, Tacheny refuses to acknowledge their workmanship was in any way related to this issue even though Tachney workers removed and replaced flashing and shingles at the exact location of the leak. So, I guess I will be hiring someone to fix their work. Friendly reminder to people looking to hire a home improvement vendor, pursuant to Minnesota statute 327A.02, vendors are required to repair defects caused by their workmanship for 1 year. Attempts to contact Tacheny to resolve this issue have been unsuccessful.

In brief, overall an excellent experience. Our experience with Tacheny began October of 2020. We met with our Sales Rep Dody and placed the order. Dody informed us of the estimated time frame and kept us informed throughout the entire process, including the handoff to Chrystal, Isabel, and our project manager Jason. Throughout the process, regardless of the change - timing of materials, arrival of all materials, availability of the installation crew the entire team was receptive to questions and fully explained the process and the impact to the project. Ultimately during the siding installation and finishing the project the entire team remained engaged and striving for 100% customer satisfaction - even when it required a last minute material change. The team swapped out the accent shakes to exceed our expectations. Excellent experience!

I worked with Sam, Dan, and their team to have our roof replaced due to hail damage. They did an absolutely amazing job all around. They were prompt and professional as they walked us through the whole process. Dan played a big part in helping us with our roof color and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The roof looks beautiful. All in all a great experience and a great company to work with.

Sales department, customer service, and installation crew were all professional, detailed and quick to answer our questions throughout the entire process. This is a local, honest company that I can't recommend highly enough - the house looks amazing and the experience was second to none. The team at Tacheny takes a lot of pride in their work and truly cared about us as their customer.

We thought we had hail damage. They came out and documented it to the satisfaction of the insurance company. There was scheduling to work around the rain. Never a problem getting a call-back. Work was done well, cleanly, and timely. Great folks to work with

We recently had Tacheny Exteriors install gutters on our home and we could be more enthusiastic about the work they did. From the initial estimate to the final installation, they were always professional and informational. Our house is a Prairie Style build, and being so, we required specialty gutters which included wedges to hold them in place. Being a more difficult installation, they were more expensive which they let us know would be the case immediately. When it came to the installation, their crew could not have been more courteous. We have a garden that spans the entire length of our house and they made sure to take all precautions to make sure no flowers were damaged. They also asked first, and then moved our yard decorations out of the way while they worked. Before they packed up and left they had us come outside to inspect their work and address any concerns we might have had. They truly made us feel as though they were working on their own home. We highly recommend them for any of your exterior needs! There is no doubt we will be calling them when it comes time for us to replace our roof!

Tacheny Exteriors is a local company who focuses on making the customer experience as stress-free and straight-forward as possible. I do not have much knowledge about roofing, siding, gutters, windows, etc., so it was kind of a taboo thing for me to begin looking into a project of that magnitude but they were incredibly helpful from start to finish, communicated effectively and proactively, and the work they did on my house was terrific!

This past summer June 2016 we had Tashney Exteriors from Little Canada, MN. remove our cedar wood siding with one of their siding products. We can not say enough wonderful things about the company and their employees. Our interest in this was first started at the MLPS HOME SHOW in Feb. where we first met Dwight Docken-"Doc" the Authorized sales representative at Tashney Exterior and known to us as "Doc". He came to our house and was very informative and knowledgeable on their siding products. We asked "Doc" to come out to our house to talk about what we where thinking of doing. "Doc" came over on more then one occasion and without any pressure, just to explain and to answer any questions we might have. "Doc" followed us every step of the way and went out of his to help; but once again -----no sales pressure. He would take time to just call us to tell us he saw a house we might be interested in looking at, for the color or color combination. Wow! Who does that now days? We being meticulous with things, meant that both of us would be taking our time with being 100 percent sure on making the best color and color combination we envisioned for our house to be. We finally decided and are very happy. We could go on and on about " Doc" but the bottom line is we would like Tashney to also know that he was the best sales person for us and went far and beyond his job. Thank you "Doc" for all your support and for helping us make our home so awesome looking. Doc----- 5 stars for you!!!! We are also going to comment on the workmanship on our house. It was absoulutely the best work. Jacob V. (the lead manager on our job) and his crew did an outstanding job. Jacob V. certainly is a perfectionist with his work and because of that his crew are also perfectionists in their work. They take pride in their work and it shows. Jacob V. also goes far and above his work. He took extra time to replaced a few things that needed to be done and did it ---instead of just letting it go. He also made sure all the supplies was there and if not, made sure it was delivered. Jacob V. and his crew would show up at 7:00 AM and would sometimes work until 8:00 PM and each night they also made sure all of old the CEDAR WOOD PIECES , NAILS and PAPER where picked up. Our yard looked like they hadn't even been there. We have had many compliments not only on our color combination but also many compliments on the very nice workmanship that you and your crew put into our house. 5------STARS FOR YOU and your CREW also! After getting our siding finished we also had a new roof put on. "Doc" once again came out to our house with shingle samples and Jacob and his crew put the new roof on. Another great job done by Jacob and his crew. Thanks also to Sam ( the owner) and his office staff for also being so accomadating with our questions when we had them.

The staff at Tacheny Roofing was highly professional and swift on a recent roofing fix we needed. This is now our second time using this company (first time for new windows). They did a wonderful job at repairing my roof and being an advocate for me through the insurance/claim process.
