Josh and Alison really are the DREAM TEAM! We wanted to build a new home, and had seen some homes that the Taylor's had built; we had no doubt they were the ones we wanted to build OUR home. From our very first meeting, where we started to design the layout of our house, we were impressed by their knowledge and expertise. They listened to all of our wants/needs, provided suggestions along the way, and continued to revise plans until we landed on a plan that was perfect for us. As the build started and continued throughout the year, Alison made picking out all the finishes so easy and painless. She has amazing taste and got a feel for my likes/dislikes, so finding what I wanted from options she had narrowed down for me, was a simple process. Josh paid attention to every detail, including many things we had not even considered. From the entry, deck, and exterior of our house, to the fine details of amazing light fixtures, tile, counter tops, cabinets, and colors of the interior, we ended up with our dream home that far exceeded our expectations!

Taylor Design just finished building our new home. We couldn’t be more excited to move in. We remodeled a prior home, but had never been through the building process. It is incredible how much work goes in to building a new home. Josh and Allison are both VERY talented. They have a great eye for detail and were invested in the success of our project. They guided us from the initial design process through to the final finish nail, and steered us toward making the best decisions (countless decisions) for our family. They are efficient with both time and money and kept us on budget without compromising on the quality of our home. Building a home is a once in a lifetime event and our experience could not have been better.

Building a house is supposed to be an extremely stressful event. Our experience was nothing short of seamless and easy. Truly a joy to work with Alison and Josh Taylor. I would have them build another house for us in a second.

First, if you're building a custom house, you want it done correctly. Josh & Alison are perfectionists. They listen to your ideas, improve on them & question you appropriately if they think that you're off track, are serious about engineering a sound, beautiful structure & care about every finishing touch being perfect. Next, this is a long-term relationship. These are the nicest people to deal with. We've been down the track house and renovations road; this was a massive relief! Finally, you need competence. Josh loves houses, architecture and engineering, Alison is a business savvy person with design tastes and a person with an eye on style with savings. If you don't work with the Taylor's, you've missed an opportunity.
