We hired Tectonics II in 2014 to build us a Lindal home with a custom garage and apartment at Wintergreen Resort. Every aspect of design and construction was completed in a very professional manner - it was complete on-time and within the agreed budget. There are builders that will build homes at a cheaper square footage cost. We investigated these builders prior to choosing Tectonics. Tectonics has a much higher end product. The allowances for appliances, bathroom fixtures and all finishing touches is far superior and was confirmed by our account manager at Ferguson - she indicated that Tectonics allows the largest budget of any of the builders she deals with - allowing for high end kitchen appliances, bathroom features and lighting fixtures. Everyone who visits our home makes similar comments and indicates how beautiful it is. As I am writing this, there are people on a golf cart staring at our home - a frequent occurrence from the golf course outside! Tectonics has immediately dealt with any minor issues (there have been very few) in a prompt and professional manner. We are completely satisfied and have recommended Tectonics to all of our friends and acquaintances (and strangers). Without hesitation, we would use them again (even though we love the house so much we will never move).

I highly recommend Tectonics. Steve Crandall and his son Justin have been incredible to work with and have become good friends. They built our Wintergreen mountain home in 2012 and continue to come back no check on our satisfaction. Anytime we ask for an enhancement or minor maintenance, they are very prompt. The quality is simply outstanding. I have worked with other builders and Tectonics tops the list.

Tectonics II Ltd. has given us our dream house - twice. We wanted a Lindal home, and Tectonics came highly recommended by the company and by other Lindal owners. From the very first, our experience with them was great. Estimates were transparent, budgets were accurate and honored. Everything was done on or ahead of schedule. They listened to us carefully, provided excellent guidance when needed, and went above and beyond in every instance. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and we know that they stand behind their work. How do we know? Three years after we moved into our home, we had a lightning strike and a fire that took out a third of the structure. The fire chief and insurance adjusters told us that the only reason the entire house had not burned to the ground was the exceptional, post-and-beam construction. In fact, the dozens of housing professionals who appeared after the fire, including the County real estate assessment representative, all commented on the home's quality and beauty. After the fire, Tectonics came back in on extremely short notice and rebuilt our home to the showplace it was before. They worked overtime before and during the holiday season to make sure that we'd be back at home to celebrate. They made visits after completion to check and make sure that absolutely everything was perfect. It was. Again. I'm typing this review from a kitchen that is as beautiful - if not more so - than it was before the fire. Steve Crandall and the entire staff at Tectonics II Ltd have been extraordinary. We cannot recommend them highly enough. When we hear friends talk about how stressful their own home building experiences have been, we feel extraordinarily lucky that we found Tectonics.

Tectonics is an amazing company. The personal commitment for perfection amazed me. These homes are professionally done with much love and care. Beautiful homes!
