We used AFCON for a full house renovation back in 2019 including bathrooms, stairs and kitchen. The results were outstanding and the experience was a true pleasure. So when we moved house recently we had no hesitation in reaching out to them once again. Fortunately, they had a window in which they could squeeze us in and as we expected, they designed, delivered and installed a stunning kitchen with amazing details. Working with AFCON is really simple. When they promise to deliver a project it is exactly what you get. If they say their electrician or plumber will show up on such a day, you can be sure they will be there. And if they say the project will cost $X, that`s what it will cost. If you decide to add extra`s or modify certain plans along the way, they are excellent at providing a detailed cost of what those changes will cost you. My wife loved working with Rosanna to develop and draw up the initial concept, deciding on which colours and materials to use to deliver the look she wanted. Then this outline design was passed to Tony and Luca to ensure the plan was workable within the available space. Luca took charge of every single detail from ventilation hoods to magic corners and when it came to the final installation, Luca and Jaime completed the entire kitchen in 3 days! In summary, if you are lucky enough to get AFCON onboard for your kitchen reno you will have a great experience. They are the best in the business and such a fun crew to work with.

Another great experience with Tony and the crew at AFCON. We always use them for the big stuff, but unlike most, they are also there for us when we need help in between with the big stuff. Jaymie and Herbie came several times over the last few months to handle some bits and bobs that I am sure were a bit of a pain for them but they did it anyway, with a smile. From repairing some broken floor tiles in the garage to putting in some new ones in the powder room to fixing a door that was sticking and repairing our kitchen sink, they did a great job with it all. And when I needed last-minute help installing an in-ground basketball net for my son's birthday when I got in over my skis, they pulled my bacon out of the fire in record time. Considering this is a company that builds houses and does major renovations, as opposed to being a handyman outfit, their dedication to customer service never fails to impress me. 7 years after having installed new windows in a property of ours that they renovated when we had a leak, they came to make sure it wasn't their work that was causing a problem and saved us a bundle on what would have been unnecessary work. A family run business I cannot recommend highly enough!

We were 100% satisfied with AFCON for our remodel and highly recommend them. This was a large and complex project : our forever home. We completely gutted and redid the main residence of our multi-plex. (2 floors , ~3000 sq feet). Walls were taken down to accommodate a full open concept. A bathroom and laundry room were added. A luxury kitchen and wine cellar were custom built. It was a complete transformation, and the end result is AMAZING. AFCON was easy to work with throughout the whole process. We had constant communication: they are totally transparent and responsive. They kept us informed about progress, potential challenges, and any necessary adjustments. They came with ideas and solutions to all the unexpected hiccups that can happen during a reno. The project was well managed and on time. The quality of the work was exceptional. I had the pleasure of remodelling my kitchen with afcon. During each phase of the project they were very transparent and allowed me to choose from a variety of materials and scenarios. They combined this with their expert advice which helped optimize costs while keeping quality high. Once the planning was done, they got started quickly in order prepare for the new cabinets. Each step of construction was planned and timed accordingly. The overall experience with afcon was great and I will definitely call on their services for my future projects. We contracted AFCON Construction at the start of 2022 for a complete redesign and renovation of our master bathroom. Our objective was to transform our bathroom from the a late '90s typical suburbia design to a tastefully crafted spa-like oasis. What can we say once the project was completed but...mission accomplished! From the start to the end of the project the AFCON team was an absolute delight to deal with, we couldn't have made a better choice. Close communication was maintained with us at all times to ensure both a constant back and forth flow of ideas and recommendations and that timelines were understood clearly, so that all of our design dreams would be realized. Post completion of the projection they continued to remain in contact with us to ensure our ongoing satisfaction. Quality of workmanship and materials were bar none excellent and our project budget was fully respected with no unexpected surprises...which is rare for a project of this scope. We have other projects in mind for the near future and AFCON Construction will be our choice once again!!

We’re seasoned homeowners and have previously lived through smaller renovation projects. We had been wanting to initiate a major renovation that involved converting a 1950’s cottage to a modern open layout on the main floor, while upgrading bedroom and office on the upper floors with the addition of a 3rd full bath. After our first on site meeting with Tony and Rosanna, we stopped interviews with other contractors and secured Afcon for our project. Our project initiated in the spring of 2021, during peak pandemic, with strain on raw materials, supply chains, labor, delivery and all other logistic issues that you may imagine. Yes, the project ran over the expected time, and we were delayed from moving back into our home. However, Marco who managed our project, tried to minimize delays and work under extraordinarily exceptional circumstances. Marco, Luca, Jayme and Herbie are a wonderful team who listen and respond to questions and concerns. Plus, they all have a great sense of humor, and we benefited from laughs that relieved the stress of a seemingly endless renovation project. Marco was available at all times beyond regular work hours. We have no regrets with our decision to entrust the Afcon team. They are a professional group, with the expected knowledge and experience and a great relationship with highly qualified subcontractors (and a wonderful designer, Celine) that we’re glad to have trusted with recreating our family home.

We bought a new-to-us house in March 2020 that hadn't been touched in a few decades. We hired Tony to completely gut it and add two extensions. This was a massive project (~6,000 square feet with the extensions). In the end it would have been easier to knock the house down and build from scratch, though no chance the city would have given us permits for that. On top of the size and complexity of the project, we kicked off demolition in September 2020 (yay pandemic!), when subcontractors were booked for months and materials had tripled in cost and were backordered. Despite all these daunting challenges, we had a fantastic renovation experience thanks to Tony and the AFCON crew, and we couldn't be more in love with our new home. Tony is a true professional, who answered our calls, texts and emails at all times. He always offered solutions to problems that fit with what we wanted, and he always kept us in the loop. I was very hands-on throughout the renovations and Tony was always professional (and patient!) with me. As a woman who had previously experienced sexism during renovations and maintenance work in our old home ("Ask your husband", "It's complicated", etc, etc), I was relieved and grateful that Tony, and everyone that he brought to our project, always made me feel comfortable, listened to and respected. There were many times that suppliers and subcontractors were delayed, or caused other problems, and Tony was always on top of it, either making sure they delivered or making other arrangements when necessary to make sure the project moved forward. The finished house is absolutely gorgeous. The AFCON crew is meticulous and cares about the details, which made all the difference in our home. Countless times I would find them adding in little things I hadn't even thought of, to make the house better (the complete opposite of cutting corners). I absolutely trust Tony and his crew. Now that we are living in our dream home, I can't believe how lucky we were to find Tony. I plan to stay in this house forever, but if I ever find myself doing renovations again, I wouldn't hesitate to call Tony. And I don't hesitate to recommend him enthusiastically.

We hired the AFCON team for a total gut of our old kitchen, bathrooms and new windows for the entire home. Also my windows were long overdue and they took care of the entire process from ordering windows from supplier and having them installed. I am so happy with the whole new look. From the first moment we met Rosanna & Tony - we knew they were the ones we wanted to have take care of our home renos from A-Z!!!! We were very satisfied with the work by Afcon - their professionalism, attention to detail and quality of work. They managed the challenges in working in a midtown condo setting well. They were were conscientious in completing follow up details. However, we felt they should have been more attentive to providing regular, thorough and clearer budget details and updates.

We undertook a major renovation of an old home with Afcon Construction, run by Tony Fedele. We renovated a kitchen, 4 bathrooms, moved several walls, raised and levelled floors, built new staircases, etc.. Tony is very experienced, very practical, reliable and has excellent suppliers and trades. His input was invaluable. He is concerned with cost effectiveness. He recommended an excellent kitchen cabinet and vanity supplier. He was available to finish minor repairs after we moved in. His entire team is very courteous, clean and reliable. The quality of the work is excellent. I can not comment on budget or deadlines as the scope of our project changed and ballooned along the way (this had nothing to do with Afcon). We are hiring Afcon again in 2018 to change all our windows and hope to continue working with them if we require other repairs or renovations in the future. Thanks so much to the entire Afcon team!

The AFCON team is wonderful! We had a very dated house which required extensive renos : removal of wall paper everywhere, replacing tiles, flooring, redoing the kitchen completely, tearing down walls etc. Tony and his team were professional, responsive and so incredibly clean and tidy!! They were careful when working not to damage our furniture and hardwood floors and cleaned up after the job was done. It was a pleasure to work with Mr Fedele and his team. We had an amazing experience with AFCON in 2014 with our primary residence. Our renovations were extensive and the care and dedication the AFCON team showed was above and beyond our expectations. We contracted Afcon Construction to renovate our residential basement. Tony managed the process professionally and oversaw all the work undertaken by a number of specialist tradespersons. Tony Fedele has been working with us since the summer. Among the three contractor groups whom we interviewed, he was the most approachable and organized. The job is a big one (large extension, kitchen renovation, basement, heavy plumbing and electrical work). He has excellent relationships with his subcontractors who work efficiently and appear to do a very good job. With clients, he is consistently pleasant, good-humoured, and courteous, answering all of our questions and concerns. He answers calls and emails on week nights and weekends. He makes strong efforts to ensure that costs are contained. He is meticulous. Although we have been nomads within our house, moving our stove and fridge from room to room as the job progresses, our routine has not been as disrupted as it could have been, and that is largely thanks to Tony's efforts to optimize our comfort. It has been a pleasure to work with him and we are sure that he will continue to provide us with excellent service.
