I bought a house knowing I wanted to redo the kitchen, but I didn't know how best to make use of the space and make it a focal point. TobeDesign spent some time at my home and their design really made the house feel like mine. They incorporated the colors to complement the rest of the house and allowed me the opportunity to keep my personal style so it looked like me. They created something that I fell in love with from concept to finish. I cannot wait for them to redesign my bathroom next!

When I bought an investment condo in Penn Quarter in DC a couple of years ago the property needed some all round updating since it was beginning to look very dated. I heard about Todd of TOBE Design through my real estate agent and was immediately impressed by his professionalism and his ideas on how to make the condo look contemporary and high end. From the kitchen to the bathroom to the flooring and window treatments Todd had excellent ideas on what would work and look good and it was really great to an extent to be able to leave it to his judgement based on a lot of experience. Todd's team then caried out all the work to a very high standard and also quickly which was much appreciated when one is looking to rent out the property. All in all I would highly recommend TOBE Design. Todd has an excellent conception of what design might work in accordance with the clients wishes and then he and his team are able to carry out the work to a very high standard.

Hired Todd to help with the design of a condo originally built in the 60 and a few updates in 80's. Kitchen / Bathroom gutted, redesigned and brought up to date and stylish.

Todd worked with our church to renovate a large, outdated but important "living room", and helped us turn it into a warm and inviting space for meeting, entertaining, and dining. The project involved construction and furniture selection. He demonstrated respect for our budget and a practical sense of how to prioritize the many options available to us. He was generous with his time and was an excellent collaborator.

We've always been fans of the Houzz app and we're so pleased to have found Todd and his team for our home renovation. The pictures we saw of his work on Houzz fit perfectly with our vision for our major renovation - clean lines, contemporary, and glamorous. Not only did Todd deliver on a vision of an open concept design, but it was worth every bit to work with his proposals for lighting and tile. Todd knew our project called for high end finishes, and he was always willing to work with us to keep our fixture selections within our budget while still maintaining the design integrity. Todd's referral on an architect was a huge help to us in the beginning of the process. We were grateful that his expert's drawings allowed for a full open concept, contrary to what our contractors mentioned to us initially. Since we had quite a few different contractors, we really appreciated Todd's willingness to work with our team of contractors. Todd and his team's design drawings were the blue print for the contractors, which helped direct their work and minimize the level of confusion. Like any home renovation, there were some unexpected adjustments and delays we endured along the process. When we contacted Todd about the issues, he and his team responded to us later that same day and plans were in place to mediate the situation (ordering new/extra parts, returns, etc). At the end of the renovation, we absolutely love our home and think it turned out even better than we imagined, all thanks to Todd's vision. We would definitely refer Todd for anyone looking for small or large scale renovations.

I worked with Todd in the capacity of his Philanthropic efforts to make the community a better place. As a board member of Transformations of Montgomery County, MD, I reached out to Todd for his expertise and time to help us transform an apartment. Our 'client' was a young woman aging out of the state foster care program. She has overcome many life challenges and our team, including Todd, came into her life and apartment to transform it from a miscellaneous collection of mismatched everything and turned her 1 bedroom apartment from a house to a home. Todd was the lead designer on this project and spent not only many hours of his time consulting with the client about her likes and dislikes, shopping for all of her purchases, but made a financial investment on top of our proposed budget to give her everything. One thing she asked for was a set of matching dishes since she had NEVER had that before. Todd is kind, compassionate and goes above and beyond for the client no matter what their circumstances are. I hired Todd to design the interior of my new office space, and was blown away with his design concepts and attention to detail. Throughout the design process Todd asked thoughtful questions, and carefully noted the needs and wants of our organization. His initial presentation was spot on! I was so impressed with Todd's abilities I also hired him to assist with the interior design in my private residence.

TOBE design did a great job rounding out the furnishings of my condo and working with some furniture pieces that I had already selected for the unit. Absolutely loved the paint scheme that we came up with, and have no reservations on going with bold colors and trusting their aesthetic judgements. They also helped select lighting and artwork, another area where they did not disappoint. They were always very prompt and kept in touch regarding delivery dates of pieces. It was very easy to reach them and they were very enthusiastic and professional at all times. Would not hesitate to employ them again to help furnish future spaces or to recommend to friends.

Todd and Belinda have been so patient with me over the past 6-7 months. We have been planing a complete remodel of the first level of our home (kitchen, living room and dining room) and because of weddings, work and woe's we have just signed a contract with our contractor. They have supported us all along and never gave up hope! We are really just kicking this off and I am so excited to see what they have in store for us. They extremely professional and have gone out of their way to help us with this project.

Despite being on opposite coasts, Todd worked extremely hard throughout the new construction of our home, making the physical distance between us a non-issue. He opened our eyes to new ideas and made selections of finishes and furnishings that transformed a structure into our home. I highly recommend this diligent talent!

Our house is almost 30 years old and we renovated the kitchen/family room in January 2012. There were so many decisions to be made i.e., paint color, back splash in kitchen, flooring, furniture, lighting, etc. that we felt it would be good to get a professional decorator to help make these choices. We are so glad we used TOBE Design Group, LLC because the finished rooms look great. We changed the style from country to contemporary. Consideration was taken not to make this change so drastic to ensure we would feel comfortable. The choices were great and I know these rooms would not look as good if we had taken on the task alone. Have received compliments from family and friends. We are enjoying these renovations and would certainly use their services again.
