The service and quality provided by Tom and his team was exceptional. I have been in the construction industry for 27 years and I have never seen such professionalism and customer service. The work was to a high quality and Tom's team left the work site spotless at the end of each day. The crew was helpful, friendly and always willing to provide information on what was happening at each stage. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend the team from The Small Garden for any landscape design and construction that you maybe considering, big or small.

We engaged Tom and his team to do a full makeover of our backyard. We now have our tropical garden and we are incredibly happy with it. I highly recommend The Small Garden. We have just completed our third project with The Small Garden and are as happy as ever. We discovered TSG a number of years ago and loved their work, so when we were ready to transform our overgrown and unused front courtyard Tom was at the top of our list. From his first visit, he gave us the confidence that he and his team would transform our garden into something special. We cannot speak highly enough of Tom and his team, they were a pleasure to have to work on our property. It seemed to us that nothing was too much trouble. We have had a number of different trades completing work on our home and had good experiences with them all, however, the guys from TSG were the hardest working, most considerate and helpful of them all. The quality of their work is a very high standard. We now love looking at and being in our garden. We cannot recommend Tom and his team enough.

We are delighted with the incredible transformation of our formerly unusable front garden. We enquired about The Small Garden Company after seeing some of their lovely work. Tom and the entire team did an outstanding job and all worked very hard on this project to achieve the end result. The new outdoor area is a real hit. My courtyard garden was a small project so of course my various contacts all recommended Tom at The Small Garden and I am forever grateful to he and his team. He created a little contemporary oasis in a tiny very shaded spot where privacy was key. Tom is just so easy to work with and took time to consult, send drawings and he juggled 2 other projects and fit me in. I now look out from my apartment into a lush garden. He delivered on time and on budget! I’m beyond grateful and continue to recommend him.

I have a courtyard garden that had recently had some large established trees removed, resulting in a mix of sunny and shady spaces. Tom met with me initially to understand the areas in the garden that were working well, some trouble spots that needed to be addressed and what type of plants we were hoping to include to attract birds, bees and butterflies. Tom and his team communicated well, worked hard and efficiently, tidied up well and were able to integrate new plants with the existing garden, tinkering with our existing drainage and watering system to ensure all would go well. Tom has continued to watch over things as the new plants establish themselves. We are delighted with the results and would highly recommend The Small Garden!

We contacted The Small Garden to connect our rear stairs of the house to the pool area. The process was stress free, Tom and his team were thorough, polite and extremely accommodating. Tom is fantastic, able to interpret the vague descriptions of what my husband describe as likes into gardens that we love. We've worked with Tom on two gardens, one was at our old house, shaded, tropical oasis with light garden pots and great design that maximized a small space. Our new house - is a staged approach with stage one, deck, leveled garden, colourful plants and flowers and stage 2 will be a pool. We can only recommend the small garden for all of your needs. Tom understood just what I needed for my small courtyard, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result. The process was such a pleasure, too, from the initial contact and the planning through to the finished product. Tim worked incredibly hard for two solid days in the heat pretty much without stopping - an amazing work ethic! Both Tom and Tim were a delight to deal with. Very highly recommended.

I hired the Small Garden to re-design and build a new front (small) garden for my home in Clayfield. I am delighted with the outcome, it is attractive and growing very well (I have not lost a plant despite the prolonged hot and dry weather).
