We had a wonderful experience working with Al while redoing our kitchen. He got a real sense for our style and what we wanted and brought forth some recommendations for pieces that all look amazing and are really high quality. Between Al and our contractor, everything was handled and scheduled with minimal input or need from us. - Tile Flooring - amazing quality tile, lots of options, much better than anything at the big box stores. We went with an italian floor tile that looks and feels so great and really wasn't much more than what we would have gotten at the other stores. - Countertop - He came with us to help us find and pick out the natural stone top that was perfect for us. We went with a quartzite top and he had everything scheduled for pickup and fabrication and really guided the process along. - Cabinets - there's so many options here, but Al helped us find the right design and style (white and wood colored cabinets). And they are high quality wood cabinets that come with an amazing warranty if there's ever any issue with them. He figured out all the details including the right trim and sizing and types of cabinets we need. - Backsplash - There's so many options here and we thought we had an idea of what we wanted, but when Al let us bring home some samples, we realized those weren't quite what we wanted. He came back to our place with more options that he knew would fit our style and we ended up picking one of those options and it turned out so great. We would highly recommend working with Al, he's great at what he does and he really made us feel like our job was his top priority. He got to know us and made it really easy to choose between options that he gave us or pivot to something else when we wanted to.

After the level of service we received here, I don’t think we’ll ever use anyone else for future projects!!! In the past it always felt like we were settling on a tile selection because we couldn’t find anything better. Upon our first visit we found numerous products that grabbed our attention! Al was able to answer any questions we had, and the personal service helped us to make our decisions quickly and confidently. It’s put the enjoyment back into our projects in that we can stand back and appreciate our creations again. And to know that we don’t look the same or similar as every other remodel!!

We were doing a complete kitchen renovation, cabinets/countertop/backsplash which included relocating a wall with plumbing & electrical. I bought porcelain floor in this store and included the installation. First, I paid in 2/10/18. The product came about a month later. Although the tile was the one I ordered, I was not quoted material needed to complete the work as it suppose to be. I ended up paying for material not quoted but needed a lot more than expected. Second: apparently the quality of the tile was not the best one for the price. At the end of the job my floor is uneven because more than half of them where bent, not straight and the edges are not together. The floor is so uneven that I have to cover it with a rug. I can't slide the furniture, it has to be lift it in order to move it. You cannot walk barefoot in my floor; it hurt in your feet. After several calls to Al for him to visit my house (since he did not came or contacted me during the installation) he came with the tile's company representative and the representative left my residence saying that is wasn't his problem and that if the tiles were bent they shouldn't be installed. Al told me that he will correct will deal with the situation and that he will order some spare tiles (because I was left without any spare tile at the end of the installation). At today, I still have an uneven floor, a floor that I am not happy with. The floor is not up to par, not according as one can expect for the amount of money that I paid and the promise of quality gave to me. I got just three boxes of tiles, but I don't think that it will resolve my floor situation.and they were not installed anyway. I have seen hundreds of porcelain floor and this is the first time I see one with the edges sticking out, not even and hurtful to walk in. I feel cheated. Not the quality that was promised.

We were apprehensive about renovating our master bathroom. After a visit to Unique Tile, we are confidently moving forward. Al has an amazing depth of knowledge and creativity. The selection and value are great. There is no way a warehouse store can match this family owned business for service, selection, and personal attention. We will post photos when done!

Unique Stone and Tile has done at least 3 projects over the years and we keep coming back. Currently we are building an outdoor kitchen and are buying the materials from Unique Stone and Tile because of the quality and durability of the product. I shopped other big box stores but could not find enough stone for the job without flaws. Al has always been honest with us and even helps with the design and advice for somebody who wants to try the installation themselves.

My wife and I have always admired authentic Spanish architecture in Florida and recently searched all over Central Florida for Saltillo and deco tiles to remodel our kitchen, Florida Room, stairs, and bar. All the tile stores we visited including big-box stores and even specialty shops, told us that no one still made these terra-cotta tiles, which are a classic exemplar of Spanish design. These stores directed us to ceramic tiles and other perfectly square, perfectly thick, perfectly cut, perfectly boring tiles so popular today. Well, we have to tell you after much searching and almost giving up, we were so happy that we found Unique Stone & Tile in Longwood Florida. They ordered Saltillo and deco tiles from Mexico for us and helped design our room layouts. They also helped educate us on where these tiles come from, how they are made and proper installation methods. The service from start to finish was...superb.

This place is the best. I remodeled my bathroom in travertine myself. I had never laid tile before, let alone real stone. Al was so helpful. He walked me through everything and it turned out awesome. The quality of his product in unsurpassed. I'm 100% satisfied and will be using them for my next project.

Over the last few years I have done a bathroom (floors and walls) and my entire pool deck (over 1100 sq. ft.) with Travertine from Unique Stone and Tile. Al and staff have always been most helpful with selecting the right Travertine and great tips on how to do the installation. These were not small DIY projects and took some time to complete. The finished work is beautiful (not just my opinion). The materials were delivered to my yard (over 6 crates of tile for the pool deck). All were perfect and went in exactly as planned (with a lot of input from Al.) I had looked in area for best tile store - this was it. Al helped me select best travertine for my bathroom and pool deck jobs. Turned out great.

Absolutely wonderful. Helpful, knowledgable, and great prices and service. So happy to have found a place with great service, and beautiful selections. We visited practically every tile shop in the Orlando area, it was useless, little to no help. Will be going back again and again with all the special renovations we are doing.
