About Us

From humble beginnings, we've built an outstanding team that provides our customers with the finest property management services available. At Ultimate Services, our wealth of knowledge and commitment to customer service have made us an indispensable resource for some of New York and Connecticut's most selective residential and corporate clients for more than four decades. in 1971, while still in high school, John G. Chiarella, Jr. founded Ultimate Services with just one employee, a push lawn mower, and a handful of clients. From day one, providing outstanding customer service was his top priority. He mowed lawns, washed windows and did odd jobs with pride for area doctors, lawyers, and business professionals. Wishing to grow, John knew he could not expand his services without first increasing his knowledge. The University of Connecticut's Horticulture program was his answer.

We have worked with Ultimate Services for the past six years and they have been in charge of our lawn care, spring/fall clean ups and general garden needs. Their team is profession, courteous, and accommodating. During our recent construction project, we relied on Phil and Nelson for many complicated landscaping projects. They moved large established trees and boulders, designed and built a swale and created a lovely blue stone terrace. We could count on them to get the job done on time and on budget.

As an Interior Designer, I have a strong idea of how I want my property to look. The team at Ultimate Services provides excellent service all year long. With each year that Ultimate has taken care of my property, it has looked more beautiful. Ultimate Services is always there for emergency work as well. After Hurricane Sandy, John Chiarella was onsite almost immediately to check for damage. If there is a snow storm, John always calls to check in. With weekly visits from a dedicated horticulturalist, one can rest assured that their garden is very well maintained. Ultimate is more than a landscape company, they are like family.

From spring to fall clean up, pruning, weekly mowing, feeding, seasonal planters etc…They are always available, accountable and quick to respond. Very good service. A little pricier than other landscapers, but worth the cost. Have a horticulturist who oversees property. Very responsive and knowledgeable - pleasure to work with.

I cannot say enough great things about Ultimate services. I run a very large estate with complicated landscaping- and the plowing is very tricky as well being that we seem to have our own weather pattern and a very steep long driveway. Susan Fields in particular is an amazing manager. She accommodates our needs on a moments notice. This will be our 4th year in contract with them. I highly recommend their services!
