Approximately 2 years ago, my wife and I decided to complete a major renovation on our 30 year old home. Right from the first meeting Felipe made us very comfortable with his knowledge and passion. It was about what we wanted. Following this meeting Felipe proceeded with completing a detailed scope and estimate for completion. Every aspect of the renovation was discussed and agreed upon. The procurement and construction phases were seamless. The jobsite was kept clean, we received daily updates and Felipe's staff were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The project was completed on time, and a year and a half later, the quality of the work is such that it still looks like it was finished yesterday. My experience building our new home with Versa Platinum Construction was a complete pleasure. The Versa team was great to work with. I was looking for a contractor with effective project management skills, cost control systems and procedures and a willingness to work to a fixed price. Any project cannot have a fixed price without a fixed scope. By defining the scope at the beginning before starting the work I was confident that I could afford the finished project. Versa used their project management and cost control software to manage not only the scheduling but also the cost of the work throughout the construction. Of course it's impossible to anticipate everything at the start, but by providing judicious allowances in time and money in the initial plan, and by having a clear process for managing changes to the plan, the final result was a project completed "on time and on budget". This was my wife's dream house, and there were changes along the way that weren't anticipated in the original plan. Unexpected site conditions were encountered, and naturally we changed our minds as the plans evolved into reality. All the changes were negotiated in a professional manner with everyone focused on trying to keep to the original price and delivery. The Versa Team suggested "work arounds" in many cases that helped moderate the impact of changes on cost and schedule. Some of the potential changes we initiated were countered by alternate proposals in an effort to keep on time and within budget. Versa's attention to the quality of the work, schedule and project costs, aided by their project management software and construction expertise all contributed to the success of this build. The software controls allowed us to look ahead and consider all the impacts of possible changes. I was very impressed by the productivity of all the trades and the professional way they carried out their work. They took great care to accommodate the neighbours and to minimize the impact of the project on the neighbourhood. The site was kept clean, the construction noise minimized, and the jobsite language was kept at a professional level. The trades all took pride in their work, and achieving a quality project was a common goal. The neighbours remarked on several occasions that they actually enjoyed watching and participating in the construction of our new house. The crews were very generous in accommodating these sidewalk superintendents. The construction crew also took personal responsibility for their work as members of the project team, even fixing issues that were created by other trades instead of saying "not my problem". Helping each other efficiently finish a quality project was part of the jobsite work ethic. Quality of the work and attention to detail were outstanding. When it came to finishing, Felipe set a very high standard and initiated corrections to some imperfections that I hadn't even noticed. I would build another house with Versa in a heartbeat. Great Work by my crew! I had my own online log in to see the progress of my job! The guys are very polite and very professional. they kept my house and site extremely clean and tidy, the safety measures are also very impressive, first aid kits, sign in sheets, maps to the hospital and eye wash. As the wife of the owner, Felipe, I knew they were good but after experiencing it myself I felt I needed to write a review, this time I was on the other side, I was customer. Very happy with the work!! if I wasn't my husband would be in big trouble :) Happy wife happy life ox!

Versa converted my basement into my dream man cave. It is a sports bar theme with a putting green built into the floor on one end. It is so nice we that I can't get my wife and kids out of there...even though it is clearly a MAN cave! The professionalism and level of skill that Versa provided is without compare.

I had a very specialized project - building a studio. I had some very strange requests and was actually turned down by other contractors. When I talked to Felipe at Versa about my plans he didn't tell me what I couldn't do like all the other contractors - he got excited about my vision and told me how I could make it even better. They were on time, on cost and always smiling (even when I wasn't!) my studio is now my pride and joy and I'm grateful to Versa every morning when my work day begins. Thank you so much Versa!!!!!

Versa Platinum Construction Ltd. has demonstrated excellent customer service and quality workmanship with great attention to detail. We hired Versa Platinum Renovations to add 600 square feet to home and completely renovate an additional 500+ square feet inside, just the thought of this was a scary Reno for us with three small kids and having to open up the whole side of our home in the winter months to the environment, From the initial conversation with Felipe determining the budget, permits, Andrea designs and construction it was incredible! we had a very clear communication through the whole project, it was completed on time and on budget!!
