Best of Houzz 2021 Chicago Based Luxury Interior Design Studio that serves clients all around the city and suburban environs as well as many client's homes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Florida. Every project is approached with the same basic intent: to create a living environment that joyfully welcomes all who inhabit; be it years or hours. That feeling is achieved through careful attention to the comfort, mood and function of each space.

Vicky was so fun to work with. She is a creative bundle of energy that helped us to think outside the box when re-decorating our home. Vicky assisted in selecting paint colors for our entire first floor in addition to furniture, rugs and accessories. Our traditional colonial home now has a contemporary pop of color that we just love.

Vicky is a delight to work with. She is happy to show a broad range of options and listen to feedback. From there, she finds even more to consider and is thoughtful in her approach. She doesn't take any decision lightly and is creative and fun to work. She has a great sense on how to handle scale which was a challenge for this project. In the end, I could not be happier with the results.

We recently remodeled our vacation home, a lake house on a wooded lot in Michigan, and we really wanted to bring the beautiful views from the outside into the interior. We were very pleased with the work that was done for us by V McHugh Interiors. Vicky listened carefully to our wants, and helped create a warm yet sophisticated look to our house. Her designs for the window treatments were perfect. She had a great eye for the placement and selection of furniture, artwork and carpets, blending in those family pieces we wanted to keep and suggesting new pieces add. We are very happy with the way she paid attention to what we said, and translated our hopes into reality.

When Vicky first came to our house she asked a lot of questions about changes we wanted, how we used rooms and areas, what were changes we wanted to see and what did we want to keep. She was a good listener and came up with multiple ideas, and we were off to a running start quickly. She works really hard and is very prepared with many options for each meeting. Overall Vicky is easy to work with, imaginative, and responsive.

Vicky is dedicated to turning her clients' dreams into reality. She has worked with me on 2 homes, transforming both from lackluster to spectacular. Both my Chicago and Sarasota homes receive rave reviews from all who visit. Vicky doesn't give up until every last detail is completed. I continue to be amazed by suggestions well after project completion, demonstrating her commitment to her clients. Vicky always pays close attention to my preferences and budget while fine tuning my vision. Vicky is talented, timely, knowledgeable and passionate. Home design daunts me. Vicky's energy and zeal have always made my experience with her the best of fun! My homes are tasteful and sophisticated while at the same time cozy. I enthusiastically recommend Vicky for any project be it large or small. I promise you won't be disappointed.

She tailored the project to my taste perfectly and was able to bring our rooms together in exactly the way I envisioned. Vicky from V McHugh Interiors has been a wonderful mix of creative and patient during the interior design process at my home. We have redesigned five rooms so far. She has fabulous resources for unique furniture, fabric, art, painting techniques, and everything you could possibly need to complete a finished look. Vicky is easy to work with even when I have no idea which direction I'd like to go. The rooms that we have completed are truly magazine ready!
