My husband and I have worked with Wayne on multiple design projects for our homes over the last 20 years and he is, without a doubt, THE BEST DESIGNER!! First off, Wayne is extremely kind and very easy to work with. He makes a point to get to know his clients so that he can best serve their needs. His ability to visual a plan and then execute a beautiful design is beyond compare. He listens to his clients and what their needs/desires are, and he comes up with a design that is not only beautiful but also functional. I recommend him without hesitation and if you ever work with him he will be the last designer you will ever use. Yes, he is that great!!

We have worked with Wayne Aspey on two major furniture purchases, twenty years apart. His professional assistance was so helpful to our first furniture purchase for a (largely empty) new home that we went back to him and Ethan Allen twenty years later when we were ready to update our family room and kitchen dining area. We went in with some ideas for new sofas, received great ideas from Wayne, and ended up with a final result that is even better than we had hoped. We love the new look! Wayne is a great listener, offers a wide variety of options, and is always willing to adapt to our tastes. He works hard at communication and continued to think about our needs even when we weren't in the store. We ended up with furniture pieces that work perfectly with what we had before, but add a new look and function. Great job, Wayne!

We were working on a complete makeover of our formal living room, all new furniture, and accessories. After months and months, it just was not coming together to meet our liking and vision. Frustrated, we turned to Wayne whom we had worked with previously. In one afternoon, he recommended furniture, fabric and accessory solutions. The chair and fabric he recommended turned out to be stunning, along with pillows, artwork, and accessories totally transformed the room to the room of our dream and vision. Exceeding our expectations. Now we just stand and stare at the room and can't believe it's our room.

Whenever we are making a purchase for our home, be it a lamp, or to outfit an entire room, our “go-to” designer is Wayne Aspey of McVay’s Ethan Allen Worthington. Wayne very quickly understood our particular style and what our needs are in regard to function, room size, cohesion with existing furnishings, tasteful fabric selections and of course, budget affordability. Wayne always presents us with alternative choices and thoughtful ideas to keep in mind, but also listens carefully to our preferences as well. Wayne’s cheerful and patient demeanor and his spot-on advice have helped us make purchases we love and that fit-in with our tastes and the style of our home. We have appreciated Wayne’s dedication to his craft over the years that we have worked with him.

Wayne has helped us over the years redecorate our home. His creativity always amazes us! He works so well diffusing the different views my husband and I have to create rooms that fit us both perfectly. He is patient and willing to try and try again until he knows we are both happy. Wayne is the best!

After checking out several furniture stores in search of quality furniture I came back to Ethan Allen and Wayne Aspey who guided me through making furniture choices some 30 years ago. He is an absolute delight to work with. He gets a good sense of who you are and of your setting, develops an array of options and you choose. There is absolutely no pressure to buy. Instead, I looked forward to our time together in the store and I am normally one who hates shopping. Wayne also spent a whole day with the movers to help set up the furniture according to our plans. I wake up each day delighted my newly decorated household.

We have had the privilege and pleasure of working with Wayne Aspey, interior designer from Ethan Allen here in Columbus, Ohio, over the past twelve years. He has helped us with many decorating ideas for our home. we have been extremely satisfied with all he has done for us. He is wonderful to work with and always has many ideas and allows us to make the final decisions. One of his most outstanding attributes is his broad and outstanding knowledge of all their products. We highly recommend him for any design issues.

When your in Wayne's hands you have no worries. Not only does he have excellent taste, he really knows how to put a room together all in Proportion and with color and pattern. Wayne worked with me on our new downsized home. I only had a short time period to pick out furnishings and he made a stressful situation with many decisions smooth sailing. I am so happy with the results and look forward to working with him in the future

We recently decided to downsize and moved to a condominium. We had worked with Wayne Aspey a number of times over the years, and wanted him to help us us design our new living spaces. Wayne demonstrates true professionalism in his approach to interior design. He takes the time to get to know your tastes in style, and than proceeds in a logical progression to develop his interior design. He presents choices in fabrics and patterns in a way that does not overwhelm the client. And he knows his product lines intimately - what's available, their features, etc. We fell in love with coastal Maine many years ago and kept coming back to vacation there. Wayne came up with an interior design he called "Shabby Coastal Chic". We are very pleased with the finished product. It is both stylish and comfortable, but more importantly, should stand the test of time because it is not trendy.

Wayne saved me hours and hours of time by listening to my ideas and then pulling together the combinations of furniture, fabrics and accessories that would look the best. I especially like the way he respected my preferences, rather than trying to persuade me to like his own personal style. The room turned out better than I imagined and we have received many compliments.

We can't say enough nice things about Wayne (ok, maybe we can)! He is a seasoned professional with such creative ideas. He has a collaborative spirit that we enjoy. We both love color and texture and he has helped make our vision a reality,

Wayne did a fantastic job! I love my new family room. His suggestions were spot on and he listens! It's very comfortable, kid friendly, but beautiful. It's way more colorful in ways I wouldn't have thought of. He definitely hit it!
