WeatherGard

Shortly after the Windows were installed in the spring of 2016 a caulking failure occurred. WeatherGard did return to the home and removed trim, replaced and re-caulked. The caulking then failed again and the company came back out to repair the caulk. The installer crew then proclaimed that to do the job correctly all trim would again need to be replaced. The crew had sliced and cut open the caulk and left it that way. In early 2017 I contacted for completion of the repairs with no response. After several e- mails with no response I had to call Dave in the repair shop. Dave indicated that WeatherGard wanted to send the caulking OEM out to the home to review the caulking installation. After that review the caulking OEM advised that the window trim did not need to removed and re-installed but only needed to be properly re-caulked with another one of their products. A good amount of time passed and I again e-mail WeathGard service and requested the repairs be completed within the next two weeks, and I called Tony the service manager. Dave did contact me the next day to inform me that he had ordered the OEM recommend caulk and that WeathGard would come back to recaulk the windows. WeatherGard has not responded to my e-mail inquiries since then and has not competed the project. It has been over a year and WeatherGard has not returned to complete repairs. I will continue to update this review.

We recently had windows replaced through out are house. We looked into different company's but went with Weathergard. Their product was just hands down the best. And if your going to spend a lot of money you want the best product for your money. What blew me away the most was the product and the team of guys who installled the window! Manie, Mike and Mark were just awesome, they were professional, courteous, and genuinely loved their job and the product they installed. Having managed bussiness over my work career I like to think I know a lot about people and work ethic. These guys were just awesome, I can't say enough about them all! The highest compliment I could give them is that they represent weathergard and weathergard should be very proud of the job they do.

excellent work on the install, even though one doorway was not square it still closes like the day they install it, very quick and clean work, stopped all the drafts on all windows and doors, GREAT WORK GUYS KEEP IT UP!!!!

We were very pleased with the windows. Great quality. Our installer was fantastic. Did a great job of installing the windows and vinyl siding work around windows. He was very courteous and made sure we were happy with the job he did. I highly recommend this company.

I am very pleased with the new roof. Job was completed in one day and great clean up by the company.

Windows seem to be high quality and can't wait to see how they perform in the winter months. Hopefully they save on heating costs.

They did an excellent job, completed ahead of schedule. The window are very nice. My only complaint is that I was hoping to have less traffic noise, but it is better than before.

We have used WeatherGard to replace the windows in our high rise senior housing building from the first floor through the 4th floor and plan on using them to complete the project. Their work is first rate and they communicate very well about their plans. We have no complaints at all about their work, attitude or professionalism.

My window's are beautiful, the hardware is strong and the installers were courteous, neat, and professional. I would highly recommend WeatherGard for your next window purchase.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!, PUSHY SALES PERSON, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I don't even know where to start. just throw away any fliers you get from WeatherGard. My mistake was opening the door for someone handing out fliers and signing up people for a free home estimate. after agreeing to have a sales person come over and going over all my options, I was considering a new roof, siding, and windows, after letting this person in my house for two evenings I was stunned when I got the estimate for everything (over $40,000) when I told the sales person that it was to much and I was just going to get the new roof it was like I just wasted all of his time. A few weeks passed and My hours got cut at work so when I called WeatherGard to tell them I needed to hold off on the new roof I was told if I was going to cancel I would be charged a restocking fee over $400 so I just went ahead and had the roof installed. when the roof installers showed up I asked them if they had my sales person phone number I was told they are just contractors for WeatherGard what a joke. Alright when these guys finished I had a smashed flower bed, a broken walkway paver, and a thousand nails in my lawn and driveway, I asked the foreman of the crew about everything was told they didn't do any of the damage and they ran a magnet over the lawn to pick up the nails. so after they left I checked my lawn and found hundreds of nails in my lawn and driveway. so I called my WeatherGard sales person to let them know what happened and get the roof installers back to clean up a little better, I was told I had to call customer service and not to call him for any problems. so I called customer service and let them know what was going on didn't hear back for two days so I ended up cleaning up all the nails myself. anyways that was most of my problems with this company. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO NO ONE!!!!!

This is the 4th time we have bought WeatherGard products. That should let everyone that reads this know how we feel about the quality, value and workmanship this company provides.

All in all, working with WeatherGard has been easy. The salesman was friendly enough, but clearly he's run through his spiel so many times he's on auto-pilot. He also kept trying to sell even after we had said yes....but maybe he wasn't expecting such an easy sale. Relatives had used WeatherGard previously and we knew we were going with them based on price and service level. At a price that's 1/3 of what Andersen would want, why not just say yes immediately? The installers were friendly, fast, and cleaned up the project area nicely. Install day was a breeze! The big issue we have had is with their service department. We had a picture window installed and there appears to be a fingerprint between the panes of glass - this is something that occurred during manufacturing. A nice woman from WeatherGard was out at our house picking up a forgotten tool and we pointed it out to her...she said she'd get a new one ordered for us and we'd see it in 2-3 weeks. No phone call ever came. So, three weeks later, my wife tried to call the service department. She left a message. No reply. After two more phone calls (and messages) she called the sales department. They happily transferred her to the service guy...who was sitting at his desk...and apparently not answering his phone or messages. He then proceeded to blame someone else for dropping the ball (height of rudeness), seemed quite annoyed my wife was bothering to talk to him (height of rudeness), and he said he'd get the new window to us (which is his job). Blaming someone else when you aren't responding to your messages is petty and a terrible customer service behavior. I'm not sure how this guy got into the customer service side of the business but WeatherGard would do well to hire someone more personable. I'm hoping we get this resolved soon. Service complaint aside, the windows have thus far been great, the installers were great, the sales guy was friendly if a bit rote, the price was amazing, and if I had to do it again I would.
