Julia listened carefully to what we wanted and then designed a kitchen that went beyond our wildest dreams. Her creativity and attention to detail created a beautiful and yet practical space. Of all the people we worked with on our project she was by far the most reliable and responsive - even when the issues we needed help with were outside her area she was always there to advise and assist us. I am absolutely sure we wouldn't have achieved anything like this result without her.

My husband and I embarked on quite an ambitious plan to upgrade our Edwardian house in Highgate, London, looking to improve every room, starting with the heart of the house: the kitchen and open plan living room. This was not something we could have done without the wonderfully gentle and clear support and guidance of Julia from Kendell and Co. From the beginning she took a lot of time listening to what we wanted to achieve, came up with fantastically creative ideas that really enhanced the living spaces and basically kept us sane throughout, like when there was suddenly no plaster or cement to be found anywhere, the lack of builders or super long supplier waiting lists. Julia always kept calm and with good humour, coming up with yet another solution when necessary. Technical drawings were created as well as wonderful mood boards for the different reception rooms, as well as several bathrooms, and there is now a real cohesion throughout the house! The kitchen is truly a work of art. It has exactly achieved what we were hoping for and more, and has given us a whole different way of spending time as a family. Julia is a passionate and very talented designer, who comes up with bold and exciting ideas that really work, and we are very grateful that she was able to take on our project. Kendell + Co did an amazing job designing and installing my new kitchen. It is by far my favourite part of our recent renovation and always gets unprompted comments and "wow"s from visitors coming through - even those with absolutely no vested interest but plenty of points of comparison (like the guys coming to fix unrelated carpentry and gardening and the neighbour who recently did up her second home). I can't recommend this company highly enough in terms of advice and value for money. I am absolutely thrilled with my new kitchen which looks stunning and is highly functional, down to the last detail. Mine is a large extension in a bespoke colour of my choice (a dark blue) with lots of storage, a center island, a drinks station, bespoke glass cabinets with bi-fold doors, a built in desk, and a sofa, amongst other things. Julia really listened to what I wanted and how our family used the space and was able to build on that to design something both beautiful and practical, coming up with great improvements and innovations and considering the detail of movement and use of space within the kitchen, as well as how it would look and feel. She gives great design advice (even on things only indirectly related) and thinks of everything. She provides a truly bespoke kitchen at a tiny fraction of the cost of any other quality bespoke brand. Highly recommended.

Julia and her team have been excellent in understanding our exacting needs and requirements in designing a suitable kitchen that has exceeded all of our expectations. Julia and Madeleine have been really easy to deal with throughout, putting us at ease, allowing their expertise to shine through creating a new interior design scheme for our existing home, and for our new two storey side extension - something that we could only have dreamed of previously. Wow! What else can I say about the level of attentiveness, service, detail, focus, personalisation and determination from Julia and the team on my project. I reached out to this company to design the layout and interior of my new open-plan kitchen and surrounding areas (living space, dining space, pantry and side access). The ideas were non-stop and the team truly tried to understand what we wanted from the start - they start by understanding who you are as people, how you live your life now and plan to in the future, and through this help to brainstorm ideas for design. My husband and I had the privilege of recently working with Julia Kendell on the redesign of our kitchen, boot and laundry room. It was a huge project requiring hundreds of hours of thoughtful planning and design and having never embarked on such an undertaking it was very daunting indeed. Julia guided us through this process with the utmost care and attention to detail. A consummate professional, she worked tirelessly on making our dream a reality bringing new and exciting ideas to the table. It was a complicated and at times challenging venture but Julia"s patience and determination to make this project a success was clear to see at every stage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering a new kitchen. We worked with Julia in 2019 on the whole design and choice of kitchen we wanted. We knew that with the house having been built in a contemporary way we needed a kitchen to match as it would be the focal point within the house. Julia without exception grasped what we wanted, took our thoughts & ideas, colour schemes and came up with one terrific design and one that incorporated everything we required and more.
