One of the loveliest interior designers we have worked with. Kirsty cares so much about the creative process and really understands her clients. Love her attention to detail and inspired way of getting the best out of everyone she works with.

I have worked with Kirsty a few times, to date, having made the bespoke soft furnishings for the schemes she has designed for her interiors projects and I have to say working with her has been a real joy! She is extremely committed and professional but also very personable with a really openminded yet confident design aesthetic. She works really hard and I would feel safe and re-assured if I was in her hands, confident that the result would be a beautifully and sympathetic design very much with me in mind.

Kirsty is a lovely person, easy to work with, very adaptable. Since the first time we spoke she listened to me and she made me feel comfortable and confident that everything is going to look and feel like home in the end. She was very supportive during this journey, she came up with ideas and we discuss them and agree based on my preference and my needs. We had an amazing time choosing colors for walls and fabrics for curtains. I totally recommend Kirsty!

Our much loved second floor, two bedroom flat is in a mansion block built in the 1890s. It had not been touched for 30 years. From our first consultation it was clear that Kirsty had thought of many matters that I had not considered. As a major part of the project involved moving an internal wall, planning consent was required from the agents, which meant that an architect was needed to draw up plans. An insurance bond was required, neighbours needed to be informed. Kirsty selected a builder and supervised the work of joiners, electricians, tilers and carpet fitters. The project included replacing all radiators and a new thermostat. She kept a careful eye on the budget throughout and consulted us only when decisions needed to be made. As we could not visit the flat during lockdown she kept us in touch digitally, making the process stress free for us. Kirsty led me through the process of changing the design scheme. Our sitting room had featured a lot of red, seen in cushions and the rug which were removed. A GP and J Baker fabric in rich greens and shades of blue was chosen for the sitting room curtains and these colours were the basis of the rest of the scheme. Our cramped and tired bathroom was completely transformed. The removal of the bath and the addition of another two feet to the length of the room by moving the wall, enabled the installation of a spacious sink, with drawers beneath it. The bathroom is lined in Bert and May tiles, in a delicate shade of blue with a geometric pattern on the floor, and random white stars in the shower enclosure.. The lighting is perfect; two phases, one softer which lights up these recesses and the stylish lights each side of the basin, and also an alternative brighter light in the ceiling. An attractive quirk is the addition of wallpaper at the door end, with green palm fronds on a white background. This comes as a surprise when after shutting the bathroom door, you turn around and see it for the first time. A mirror all along the wall, edged in the same pale green tiles, gives an added illusion of space. I absolutely love the delightful bathroom that Kirsty has created for me. The kitchen has been transformed by the installation of an ash wood-look ceramic tiled floor, laid in a herring bone design. The knobs on all the kitchen cupboards have also been changed. New lighting and cane kitchen chairs make for a spacious light airy feel. A restored Victorian kitchen cupboard, found in the Old Cinema antique shop in Chiswick completes her scheme. I cannot thank Kirsty enough for her unfailingly calm and positive attitude in dealing with all issues, and her efforts to deliver the project on time and on budget in spite of the lockdown problems that arose. We are thrilled with what she has achieved.

I love interior design and feel like I’ve got enough of an eye to bring my vision to life. But sometimes you just don’t have the time to do all the resourcing yourself to the level you’d really like. Kirsty came along and helped immeasurably in numerous ways, all with a glorious smile and a ‘nothing is too much’ attitude. Most helpful of all was her sourcing a fabulous building company I could trust, which we all know is priceless, and which had been impossible to come by simply by asking local friends for recommendations. She also helped with finding a kitchen provider, a bespoke table designer, handle accessories, and the most modern ranges - all made even better with her access to discounts. She even came up with an ingenious wine storage suggestion (she got to know me well as a client!) that hadn’t been part of the brief. Couldn’t recommend her or Ixia more!

I hired Kirsty to help me design the living room / kitchen, office room and a bedroom for a 3-bed 2-bath flat i have recently bought. She has not only completed the design to the highest standards and by the timelines agreed but also went the extra mile to ensure that the furniture items ordered fit perfectly in the room before ordering and supervised their delivery and assembly where needed Kirsty has also been extremely helpful when dealing with the sellers and various service providers, managing the relationship with all which is exactly what someone who works long hours and has zero prior experience in furnishing a flat needs! She also spent a lot of time trying to understand my preferences before coming up with a number of options and has very kindly guided me when i did not express any initial preference due to my complete lack of knowledge on the topic Overall, i found Kirsty to be professional, very helpful and extremely easy to get along with. I would have no hesitation to employ her again if i bought another property or renovate the current one and would warmly recommend her to anyone looking for a competent and friendly designer.

Kirsty has been helping us with design ideas for our double living room. Building work is currently underway! Kirsty has been excellent throughout our project. She is very professional, organised, methodical and most definitely ‘on it.’ Kirsty really helped us to understand the different options for our space, providing different floorplan options and talking us through each one, suggesting many new ideas which we had never thought of. Nothing is ever too much trouble and Kirsty has been on hand throughout – however big or small the decision. Kirsty has also introduced us to her many contacts along the way, securing us great deals on various soft furnishings... We won’t hesitate to use her again in future.

The interior design brief for our project was simple - help us to renovate our 3-bed flat in London in need of a serious facelift. The complicated part? We are based in NYC and due to COVID, unable to travel and oversee the project ourselves. We're so grateful we found Kirsty to support not only the interior design but to project manage the entire process for us. Kirsty is the utmost professional - she came to us with incredible ideas that helped us picture the space in an entirely different way, ran a competitive bid to find the right contractor for us, and managed the entire project for the flat to be completely finished before we returned to quarantine in it. She seamlessly managed furniture companies, painters, builders and carpenters while keeping us up to date on how the project was progressing, where our attention was needed and where we could relax and let the project progress naturally. She added incredible and thoughtful touches along the way - such as a fun and innovative design for our hallway, stylish mirrors and accents for our bathroom, and really pushed us to create not only a warm and inviting but a stylish and modern flat. The results speak for themselves - I couldn't have even dreamed how much of a stark contrast these before and after shots could be.
