Zhanar was absolutely amazing! I’d never asked an interior designer for help (mainly scared of the cost!) but I am so glad I did- I’ll never do another room without Zhanar’s help and ideas. In early 2020 we were planning a renovation in the main space of our house – an open plan livingroom, kitchen and dining area. Although we had an idea of what we were looking to do, we enlisted in the services of Zhanar Design. Zhanar visited the house in February 2020 to discuss what idea we had and carry out a full-scale measurement of the space. Within a couple of weeks, the first draft of Zhanar’s design was available, however due to lockdown restrictions she was unable to meet with us in person to go through the design. Despite this, a Zoom meeting was arranged where Zhanar was able to share her screen and go through the detail of the design. Zhanar was very receptive of our desires and tried to incorporate them into the design where possible. She offered great advice from perspectives that we hadn’t considered, such as the impact of natural lighting and colour tones & textures etc. At the end of the project we were left with a fully comprehensive design plan. We’re currently in the process of bringing our space to life with the aid of Zhanar Design’s plan, which included the re-positioning of a stud wall in addition to various electrical socket and switches. The technical package has proved an essential reference for every aspect of the design and construction phase of this project. We are very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.

After living in our house for a couple of years it was clear that kitchen/dining area just wasn’t working for us anymore and we needed to do something about it! We knew that probably we had to redesign internal layout and add some extra floor space to increase the kitchen area, but had no idea about the cost, time and size of the project! We were so pleased when Zhanar came up with a new layout for the kitchen creating perfect family space without making major structural changes to the building. Her plans were totally making sense, new layout was practical, family and most importantly budget friendly! From start to finish, her knowledge and expertise gave us so much confidence and we knew we could trust her with our home! We were so excited and happy to see the collages and renders, they definitely helped us to visualise our new kitchen and helped us to make the right decisions. Her drawings package included every single detail and specification which no doubt will make the renovation so much easier and allow us to plan for the costs accordingly. We have also received some great tips on how to reuse some materials and cut the cost down! We were ready to start our project last March and then lockdown has happened! Due to Covid we had to postpone our project but we are very much looking forward to get it done when the whole world will be back to normal. We can’t recommend Zhanar’s services enough!

Zhanar designed my husbands study. We love the result and cant wait to see it being implemented. Zhanar was great to work with. She listened carefully and managed to implement exactly what we were looking for but showing us what we could also do. Due to various reasons we haven’t been able to realise the plan but Zhanar delivered great 3D visuals and it was so easy to imagine the space. Would highly recommend Zhanar Design.

I want to thank Janar so much for an amazing job she has done with my apartment. Not only she made it easy for me from start to finish by recommending and guiding me through the entire project. Which was fun of course. I wouldn’t lie I really didn’t think it will turn out this way...way above my expectations. From tiles in the bathroom to the lay out of the new kitchen which used to be unpractical now I love being there (that’s where I spend most of my time to be honest) I love the colour concept in my bedroom and my new dimmer lights. My mom’s comment on my living room was “this looks like something you’d see in magazines” Yes it does! Massive thank you.

We've worked with Zhanar on several projects over the past few months and I have no hesitation in recommending her. As a designer, Zhanar has a keen eye and a fresh contemporary design aesthetic. She's very good at understanding how each room interacts with the whole property and takes into account how the family will use the space. Zhanar is a designer with a real sense of vision. She's also got great 3D CAD skills and has produced fabulous design visualisations for us. She's polite, professional and very hard working. Whatever the project - she won't let you down!
