Wooden Window

We hired Wooden Window in September 2013 to replace our front door BEFORE the holidays - which they assured us they could do. While their bid was high, we chose them because of their purported commitment to quality and service. We were exceptionally disappointed, especially on the customer service front. The door was grossly delayed, and for weeks, it was impossible to get any answers as to why it was delayed, what the plant to get back on track might be, or when we'd ever see the finished product. Emails and calls went unreturned, even as they had most of our money in hand. As late as January, we got vague explanations that their "shop [was] so busy!" Either they should never have promised our job for before the holidays, or they were prioritizing other later work. Either way, unacceptable. Finally got the door the last week of January - more than two months late (twice the amount of time we were promised). The finished product was high quality as far as the wood and the construction go - but the caulking around the window piece was sloppy, and I spent hours scraping off excess caulk while trying not to scrape the door/window. We had to hire a separate handman to fix their sloppy work on the door jamb.

Wooden Window is the finest of the wood window manufacturers in the Bay Area. They refuse to compromise their quality standards, always insisting on doing their projects in the highest quality fashion possible. Mahogany is their favorite wood because of its beauty and durability, even though that means they cannot match the price of shops that make windows with inferior materials. If you have a project that simply must be done right, Wooden Windows is a great choice.

Having worked with Wooden Window for the better part of 2 years now, I know the extremely high quality of workmanship and customer service they bring to the table. I have visited their manufacturing facilities in person and have seen the CNC router machines they use to reproduce pieces with exact matching, and they are painstakingly detail-oriented folks.
