Grills'n Ovens LLC

This is the second Portuguese pizza oven I bought from Grill’s n Oven. After a few years, when I moved to a new house I wanted to have the same oven I had before and now I got the second one. It is a great oven, the price and quality are excellent and they have great customer service! I recommend this oven and I guarantee you will have a lot of fun cooking in this traditional way!

We purchased a terracotta oven and within a year it was cracked despite being covered outside. We contacted them initially and they gave us a really hard time about replacing it, and initially agreed but said we had to do the transport which we couldn’t do. It initially was still functional and we tried our best to maintain it and repair it but the inside disintegrated and it’s useless. Buyer beware these do not hold up despite following the directions to season it properly. Purchased 8 years ago. Very disappointed, will be replacing with a new oven with a company that stands behind their products.

We have had good success in the past as we have purchased 3 pizza ovens. However recently when we purchased it arrived damaged and they will not contact us back after repeated attempts.

Eugene was very helpful answering questions and providing updates. My pizza oven was shipped promptly and everything was as promised. I highly recommend Grills'n Ovens.

Hello Eugene We are still waiting for our cracked/damaged wood stove front panel since July! Can’t install the milly cook stove in the cabin as this was a gift, we purchased this stove for the beautiful red face plates. Come on now.....enough with the excuses!

Grills n'Ovens is a wonderful company to work with. I was unsure about which wood burning oven I was seeking, but Eugene helped answer all of my questions. After I made my choice, I was able to get the colour I was after due to a cancelled order, which was great and did not increase my budget. Delivery was prompt. The oven is amazing, its humongous, heats up quickly and does everything its supposed to. I absolutely recommend and will work with again.

I cannot say enough good things about the customer service provided by Grills'n Ovens - and Eugene in particular. I purchased a Forno "Nonno Peppe" pizza oven as a surprise gift for my husband's birthday. Immediately after placing the order, I was contacted by Eugene just to let me know that I had finish choices. The copper that I settled on is just beautiful. Delivery was fast and efficient. A pizza brick that fell over was quickly replaced. We were emailed some great recipes to get us started. Also, we used one of the project photos to build a similar base for our outdoor oven (there are so many great ideas on the site to look at). I have already recommended Grills'n Ovens to some friends and will continue to do so. We are thoroughly pleased with our entire experience.

I purchased the pizza-oven nearly 2 year ago and although there have several issues, Grills'n Ovens LLC has been fantastic. They have stood by the product, were apologetic, even though they did nothing wrong, replaced the defective parts, without question! Their customer service should be a model for all companies! After owning the oven here are my learning lessons: Fire up the oven at least an hour before, although the oven can reach 500 degrees in a few minutes, the stone floor takes longer to reach optimal cooking temperature. Don't take short cuts here. Take your time to build a good tepee- fire, I start with newspaper, cardboard, small then larger kindling and toped with larger logs. It starts instantly. Make sure you monitor it, the oven is designed to retain heat and which burns through the wood quicker, be sure to have extra wood near by Try different types of hard wood, that has been seasoned, only. It does make a huge difference. Don't over heat the oven, it will burn, not cook the pizza Invest in good quality tools, a cooper brush, poker-stick and a good quality, stainless steel pizza peel. Play with different dough recipes, it took me sometime to find one that I like and cooks well in the oven. Don't be afraid to mix flours. Understand that you may have to make a few dozen, bad or uneatable, pizzas before you reach restaurant quality. Attempt other foods, chicken wings, in an open pan or steaks on a cast iron skillet are amazing. Lastly, remember to have fun and enjoy the process.

I've been married for 30 years and she's told me more than once that the Pizza Oven I got for her last year is the best birthday present she's ever received from me. High praise, indeed.

Good service. On time. Great stove we do like our cooking america black stove. Our glass broke for some reason but they did replace it for free without problem... Looking forward to use our stove in a few weeks.
