As a design professional, my goal is to work with the best qualified and competitive workrooms for the projects I am hired to complete. I recently had the good fortune to collaborate on a residential project with ZCI Woodworks and found this family-run cabinetry and millwork manufacturer to be highly skilled, detail-driven-to-perfection and very professional in their client interactions. ZCI Woodworks built a beautiful bar and entertainment unit for my client, as well as a mantel made from reclaimed lumber. I met with them first and went over my ideas for the space, as a designer. They listened very carefully and we discussed some options. My client and I met with them several times going over her requirements and we agreed on style, wood type and stain. ZCI Woodworks then began construction of the units. My client and I met at the shop to see the actual pieces before they were stained to make sure that was exactly what we had in mind. From there ZCI Woodworks completed the sanding, staining and finishing of the units. After completion they installed the units in my client's home. As a designer, I am very happy to have worked with ZCI Woodworks who are very talented carpenters. They collaborated with me and helped me bring a beautiful product to my cleint. And more importantly my client is absolutely thrilled with the units and she loved the process too! Can't ask for anything more than that.

We could not be more happy with our new kitchen! The process went as smoothly as possible. In particular, we loved the way Steve and Kathy created our kitchen in their facility, allowing us to walk through the space and fine-tune the design before the new kitchen was installed in our home. We had such a great experience we would not want anyone else to work in our home.

Z Carpentry redesigned our entire kitchen.. making more functional use of our space. They have very creative ideas when building your custom cabinetry. They are very excited at the opportunity to make your space beautiful and functional. They are currently building our millwork for our coffered ceiling and redesigning our formal dining room as well as built our wall unit in our living room. When Z carpentry is done with the job there is no to do list. Pleasure to have around the house, trustworthy and neat.

Kathy and Steve made our dream of building a dormer a reality. From start to finish their organizational skills, knowledge and expertise in coordinating the project using reputable subs went beyond our expectations. We were in our new house within 2 months!! The quality of cabinetry and beautiful moldings really gave the finishing touches. Kathy and Steve were easy to work with and really take care of their customers. They are passionate in what they do and I am reminded of that everyday I wake up in my beautiful bedroom.

We initially had built in cabinets in den with entertainment section, followed by dining room bar and cabinets and total remodel of kitchen; all done to perfection. We also had a bathroom completely and beautifully re-done by Steve. His is a talented designer and his work product is done to his impeccable standards. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
