Our neighbors recommended Zobel & Co. Kitchens to us and we are very grateful that they did. We needed help in designing and planning a bar and surrounding cabinets for our open design town-home interior. Arthur made the entire process pleasant and easy. He was easy and fun to work with. He gave us ideas that we did not think of … but he also listened to what we wanted …. And was able to achieve an excellent outcome. We enjoy our new bar so much. It really fits in to the space, satisfies our needs, and has become almost a highlight of the room Our friends are so impressed with the automatic lift-up cabinet doors. We never could have done this without Arthur’s help and expertise.

My husband and I hired Arthur Zobel when we were ready to re-design our kitchen after 20 years in our home. My list of must-haves was important as a professional chef who is interested in using the kitchen for personal and professional use and most importantly to entertain our large family and friends. It was important that it would be modern, yet not trendy = a classic design that would feel timeless, comfortable and beautiful. Arthur was professional, precise and a pleasure to work with. Each detail was considered and I found his painstakingly attention to detail on par with my goals. Our project was complex with the removal of walls, and creating a completely new footprint in our kitchen/living/dining and family space. He worked well with my contractor and designer - the team who had never worked together prior, was so easy to work with. The results are exactly what we had hoped for. Each detail was considered and the couple of smaller things that needed further tweaking, was quickly resolved once the project was complete. We recently renovated our kitchen in our vacation home in the Lake George region. From the first time we met with Arthur through the completion of our project, he and his team were amazing to work with. He took the time to understand our needs, wants, design preferences, and helped open us up to possible alternatives we had never considered. This is a fabulous and creative company. To date I have not found a more creative and unique kitchen design place. I’ve seen Zobels kitchen work and designs and I am impressed. Though I am located in Southern California, and he is in NY, he was very easy to work with, was able to incorporate everything I wanted in my space, and the order came in perfect! Arthur was able to bring my kitchen design concept to fruition with the right advice and a beautiful showroom of ideas and options to choose from. He was able to make recommendations about the design that I never would have thought of, and as a result, my totally renovated farmhouse kitchen is wonderful and perfectly appointed. Zobel Kitchens did an awesome job on our counters and tables in the editing bays of our office and workspaces. We had some very exacting guidelines for the colors and attributes we wanted. No one better than Arthur Zobel to tackle the challenge of a massive septic pipe right smack in the middle of our tricky kitchen remodel! Not only was Arthur the perfect choice to guide us through every decision but his suggestions completely transformed our out of date, unconventional carriage house space into the open and timeless dream kitchen it is today. His advice was key as I was developing the scope and 'define' phase of our Kitchen project. Arthur's team and network included a master carpenter, Capital Stone for the granite & quartz counter tops with new Blanco sinks & faucets, Feiden Appliances - replaced all, Best Tile for the backsplash. After interviewing three designers we decided that Arthur was the one for us. Arthur's style and creativity is unparalleled. I found Arthur Zobel on Houzz via Google. It was the best "find" ever. Arthur is very easy to work with, listened to what I wanted changed in a very small kitchen. He had the best ideas to make the kitchen what I had envisioned. It was not a fast process, but the open and constant communication was terrific. Exactly what I needed. There were a few miscommunications, but we were able to come to agreement and make the changes I needed. My new kitchen is beautiful. I'm certain the before and after pictures are someplace on the web. The quality of the work is impeccable. The ideas Arthur provided confirm his experience and talent. I cannot recommend Arthur any more sincerely that he would be the best choice for anyone who needs a new kitchen.

From the start to the finish of our kitchen project, Arthur was a true professional and very easy to work with. He designed a kitchen according to our needs. It was easy to make modifications to the design and he always did so quickly and willingly. Also, any issue we had during the installation process, was resolved quickly. For example, when the cabinets came in, we had some minor damage to some of them. Arthur arranged for the company to come to our house the next day and repair them. Amazing!!!

Arthur has done 3 kitchen remodelings for my family over 20 years, the first for my mom & 2 for me - first in my home & the second time less than a year ago when I downsized to a townhouse condo. Arthur gave my old house kitchen a total new look by adding in an island to replace the dining area. When I purchased my condo I didn't even think about comparison shopping and contacted Arthur. I left the design & layout to him & again have an eye-catching kitchen. Arthur lets you take the lead in picking tile, backsplash etc to go with the cabinets and gives you his view on your picks. My only regret is that he is moving his business out of my area so he might not be able to do my next kitchen.

Zobel and Co. recently assisted me in renovating my kitchen in the Adirondacks. It is a unique log cabin off the grid in the wilderness and it was my desire to maintain the integrity and the feel of this special place while having the advantages of a well organized working kitchen. Arthur Zobel fully understood and grasped the concept and made it happen. He is reliable, honest, and easy to work and communicate with. We hired Arthur Zobel and Majestic Kitchens for a full kitchen remodel after a fire in our new townhouse prior to our moving day. Since we had never lived in the space, we had no concrete ideas as to what we wanted. Arthur helped us from start to finish, designing an updated floor plan and kitchen layout, assisting us with cabinet and hardware selection, suggesting countertop solutions and even providing the lighting and electrical positioning. Arthur also designed custom vanities for two guest bathrooms, utilizing the old kitchen granite countertops salvaged from the fire. Since we relocated to another state during the townhouse reconstruction, we relied heavily on Arthur to meet deadlines and communicate well with our contractor and subcontractors. We were extremely satisfied with the entire project and could niot believe how smooth the project went from start to finish. Majestic and Arthur were not satisfied until we were completely satisfied, even returning a few weeks after completion to adjust a drawer within a drawer to better suit my needs. We highly recommend Arthur for his design talent and professionalism.

What a fabulous kitchen designer! Arthur Zobel made the whole process of redesigning my kitchen fun and enjoyable from start to finish. While I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted for my house, there were many problems to be solved from the floor plan, to the finishes. Arthur Zobel designed a beautiful, efficient kitchen and two bathrooms. The space was originally a small galley kitchen in a Manhattan apartment. Walls were removed allowing for a large kitchen in an apartment. Arthur's ideas and recommendations were excellent. He followed through on every aspect of the renovation. I would highly recommend him.

Arthur has designed two kitchens, each unique in their own way. Working with Arthur is a pleasure. He listens to your "wish list" and then works with you to help you get the end product you want. He helps you to spend your budget wisely, and also advises you on what you really need in a kitchen. Arthur also has a an amazing knowledge of how to design space for storage and appliance. He can walk into an empty room, or look at a building plan and actually see the finished space in his head. Shortly we will be doing kitchen #3....Arthur will be our first call.

We needed a bathroom vanity that was custom and Arthur was able to envision what we wanted and actually draw it for us on the spot. He had done our kitchen and we knew he was a top kitchen and bath designer, in the tri-state area so we hired him to help us finally finish the master bath too. Arthur was aware that when we started this project, my husband was one year post bone marrow transplant and I will always have to pay close attention superior cleanliness in my kitchen. The last time Arthur came to inspect my kitchen, he shared with me lots of information regarding the best ways to keep my carerra marble counter tops clean and the butcher block inset in the island sanitized. Arthur Zobel designed my kitchen around my wishes in 1994. The excellent products he recommended and excellent forward-thinking job he did holds up today, June 2015. Still on the job, he is young and very personable, Arthur found a more useful pull out garbage can for under my sink, and with Arturo, the on-site builder at Majestic, put beautiful roll out drawers in under counter cabinets and divided a deep drawer into two more efficient ones, retaining the same same drawer front. They were quick, efficient and courteous as well as very capable. Arthur offers his knowledge, but never pushes. He is a pleasure to work with and his work is a pleasure to live with.
