The 'G' Rocking Chair is so called because of its unusual G-shaped frame. The chair is made from 36-millimetre birch plywood with an oil-waxed oak finish and features a sprung seat with a beige fabric cover. Perfect to relax in at the end of a long day. The chair was made in Tallinn by Radis, an Estonian company that blends natural materials with Scandinavian design to produce innovative pieces of furniture.

    A lovely-looking and comfortable chair

    I was not expecting my two chairs to arrive in pieces requiring assembly! But once all the parts arrived (the screws took a little longer due to an error) and I and a colleague had figured out the assembly (no thanks to the incorrect and sparse instructions), the chairs look and feel fantastic. They were worth the work and the wait, and I just hope that they last well under what will surely be near-constant use by our library users!
