Anjali from AG Architecture has done a great job with the redesign project for our home. She also understood and navigated sensibly the planning challenges relating to Greenbelt and AONB. She is excellent at keeping momentum going with the design, and is happy to consider / propose multiple design ideas until you achieve your perfect final layouts.

My wife and I was recommended AG Architecture by a building firm I enquired with about our home renovation project. We checked the website portfolio and straight away liked Anjali's style of work. She uses a good mix of materials that gives a modern yet subtle look to the properties she has completed work on. It also caught our eye that she has renovated bungalows before and this is why we chose her for our bungalow. Anjali initially visited our property to have a consultation about what our plans were for renovation. My wife and I didn't have a clear picture of how we wanted the final project to look like, but she was very good at narrowing down a reasonable scale of project- how many bedrooms, bathrooms, and an idea of the overall space we were aiming to achieve. She then went away to draw 3 designs that she thought would suit our needs. We were honestly blown away with what she came back with, also within a short space of time! All three encaptured exactly what we visioned for our house. The designs remodelled the entire property in three similar ways with very good variations to work with. Anjali had a very good understanding of how to open up the space in our house, and that was a very important factor for us. I am in a wheelchair and we needed to somehow remodel the flow of the property to suit my needs, aswell as add extra space and rooms. She has done this very well, and over a course of video meetings via zoom during the covid lockdown, we were able to fine tune our favourite design with her help. Anjali was very insightful with regards to achieving the best layout of the renovation, and she wasn't phased with our 1000 questions to achieve this!! If we had any worries about certain aspects of the design, she had a good solution to overcome that. An example of this was our concern of extending the property and it looking like its bolted onto the original build. The final design really looks like a brand new house, whilst still keeping original spaces and walls. She paid a lot of attention to achieving as much space and storage, without overworking the design. We are extremely happy with her work which has now been submitted for planning. We would both highly recommend her to anyone who is planning a renovation. Whether its small scale or complete overhaul, I am confident to say she will be able to match anyones requirements.

Outline plans for planning application for a extension and loft conversion. The plans detailed the works to be carried out and were successful in planning approval.

Anjali was able to quickly turn our ideas into viable plans, not only listening to what we thought we wanted but developing those ideas into a more holistic solution. Challenging to do this remotely during COVID lockdown, but planning permission now submitted! Thanks very much!
