Cantifix have proven a great company to work with, having chosen them to supply glazing units on several projects in the last few years. There have been varying levels of complexity and challenging site conditions, but I'm always confident that the design will be detailed out and well thought through.

I am an architect and have worked with Cantifix on a number of domestic extension projects. Cantifix has a deservedly great reputation so we were happy when they were specified by the architect on one of our projects. From the initial site meeting to installation on site, they have been knowledgeable and pro active , assisting at every stage. During an extremely challenging build, they have been unfailingly helpful and have accommodated changes with minimum fuss and - most importantly have supplied a great product.

I had a window, door unit installed by Cantifix. It looked great to start with. Then, within the guarantee period, two double glazed window units became misty. Cantifix refused to deal with it under the guarantee. They said it was my fault for lack of maintenance. The offered to replace the units for about £5500. I took them to court. I had an expert opinion that the failure was nothing to do with lack of maintenance. In court Cantifix said that the true cost of replacement was £2000 (£1000 for materials and £1000 for labour). So I have two complaints about this company. Firstly they tried to wriggle out of the guarantee. But even worse than this was that they then wanted to charge me £5500 for a replacement that would have cost them £2000 (and so make another £3500 profit from me). I think that was outrageous. After two separate appearances in court (because they had not prepared them self properly for the first hearing), the judge awarded me £5000 plus £1484 expenses.

We have worked with Cantifix on a number of projects over the years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Most recently they successfully delivered an incredibly complex and demanding structural glazing package with a number of innovative and unusual details, providing great technical knowledge, very thorough design work and a highly efficient and diligent installation team.

Seldom can one find a company that genuinely has the clients best wishes at the forefront of their minds. Not only did we get a team with truely inspiration design concepts, the very idea of "that can't be achieved" was never presented. The whole project was seamless, efficient, on budget on time and the whole team at Cantifix continue to provide unprompted customer service.
