Carta Nova is a studio for architecture and interior design based in London.
We believe that design should make your life easier. And it should be fun—while we work with you and later on, when you work, play, enjoy, live in your space.
We employ a holistic design approach to buildings and their interior, taking into account the people who use them and the surrounding context.
We work together with you to come up with an idea that serves as the foundation. Based on this we design your building and its interior, from the facade to the coffee cup. We then make this design reality. Simply said:
we design spaces with purpose for people with dreams!

I've hired Eva to submit an application to the Council for a rear extension which included to demolish a structural wall replaced with a steel frame and completely demolish and recreate kitchen and bathroom.
She proposed a lot of different ideas in terms of re-use the space in the most optimised way and once picked one, she took care of the communications with all the other figures involved during the process such as Thames Water approvals, Building Control, structural engineers etc...
I absolutely recommend her. She is very competent and have tons of great idea to propose based on the type of project and budget.

We hired Eva as an designer/architect for our house renovation. She has since delivered very high quality work that includes new designs for the facade. As with any design, we had to go back and forth multiple times but Eva understood what the amendments were and delivered them very quickly.

Eva at Carta Nova completed work for a property that our director owns. The work that she completed was incredible and to an extremely high standard.
The renovation was completed on a two bedroom flat in Farringdon, she used this space to its full potential. The kitchen/diner looks light and much bigger due to her vision. The bedrooms are now decorated in a modern but warm design which keeps a homely feel.
Eva worked at a good pace and met any deadline that was required. She made the transformation of the property stress free by taking care of the builders, materials and any other task. She was always available to answer any queries that we had and explained everything concisely and clearly.
We can’t thank Eva enough, I would recommend her to any of my friends or colleagues and hope to give her many referrals in the future.

I retained Carta Nova to work on my apartment in the US. I worked with Eva to come up with a few ideas and she expertly brought everything together--color scheme, interior architecture as well as the few minor structural changes that I wanted to do. I loved the result and it helped substantially when renting out the apartment. Eva listened to my ideas, understood what I wanted and helped to crystallize those notions into ideas... and then made the ideas become reality. It made living in my apartment so much more pleasurable and improved my bottom line when I decided to rent it out. I highly recommend working with Carta Nova.

Unfortunately, you need to keep the door. It is the case of having the hall and staircase secure from fire from any of the adjoining rooms.
The door should be an F20 door. In the most cases...
